Sigil: City of Doors

Running checkdisk thoroughly on the disks to try resolve an issue. Will post when done or when I know a bit better how much time it will use.

Used ages on the first couple percent, then jumped to 24% (of first disk), so hard to give estimate... Anything from 10 minutes to a couple of hours... Will keep you posted.

I think couple of hours is more likely than a short while now... just so you know

Although it could possibly suddenly jump a few more times... but considering its going through empty disk space now, thats rather unlikely...

Afraid the going is slow, my guesstimate is another two hours to go

Things are progressing better now... hopefully within 30 minutes

Server is up again.

I have learned a few things, but at same time I doubt the problem is solved. Asking for continued patience, and use appearance changers an absolute minimum to keep uptime as high as possible.

Server down, will reboot it when I get home in a couple of hours...

Server now up, more detailed announcement on actions taken coming later.

UPDATE: Server crashed again, but now I'm going to swap it for the old server until the problem is solved. Will take a bit longer, hopefully have it up in 30 min to an hour...

I've set old server up to run it until I get the new server serviced.

So it will be slow, laggy, and probably a bit more crashy.

Also character deleter and tail adder won't work currently. Let me know if anything else fails to work.
