Dialog Changes:
Fire Plane Ship's Captain:
No longer announces what race you are in his greeting. If you're a doppleganger or dragon in-cognito he shouldn't know that.
Mercurian Shrine Angel:
Now offers your choice of rewards for turning in a Carceri black sapphire: A solanian truesteel, a mercurian rose, a celestial plume, an arboreal oak, or 3 golden cogs. This way good-aligned players don't need to go on killing sprees in Mercuria to get those craft materials and players not interested in crafting can choose coin. Quest no longer gives a good-aligned shift, though. You could just want the reward.
Area Changes:
Niflheim Path
-Small crypt on Niflheim Path is now open for rp. The interior has no monsters or treasure, it’s clearly an abandoned project of a former dev, but it’s a nice little area for some rp, or for level 1 characters to rest while hunting undead.
Niflheim Castle
-NIflheim Castle door now scaled to correct size
-Floor panels that open interior doors now can be activated by summons
-Doors opened by floor panels can be picked, DC 55
-Two doors that were previously opened by levers only are now unlocked and their levers removed, allowing you to retreat any time you wish.
-Door that cannot be opened at all now says so when you try to pick it (Tells you area beyond is collapsed) instead of making people waste time trying to figure it out.
-Door leading to area with the two floor-panel-activated gates now has a lever to open it on the other side, allowing you to return that way.
-All doors and levers renamed to more immersive/descriptive names instead of toolset references
-Lever in The Ascended’s sanctum replaced with a second chest. Gold previously in one chest now split between the two. Each chest generates its own random loot.
-Door at back of Ascended’s sanctum now opens with a key the Ascended Drops. This key will appear in the inventory of the player that struck the killing blow with the server message “You found a key”. If the killing blow was struck by a summon it will be the inventory of the summoner. This is to make sure the key doesn’t drop someplace inaccessible, like where a placeable is.
-Sarcophogi in room beyond Ascended’s chamber now full of treasures due to difficulty of Ascended (toughest fight on server imo, at least on Gatecrasher)
