Would just like to remind people, when in the Bazaar or other public places, there are usually NPC guards around. If there are no DMs around or Hardhead players, (or even guvner or mercykiller players to a lesser extent) then its not likely anyone is going to interfere with it directly.
Therefore I ask you to either refrain from doing illegal stuff as your character should know they will get arrested (unless they have a really low WIS or INT) or else then act out the consequences like "Oh, crap, its a guard, run for it!"
And with special regards to the "Church of Bob" - keep in mind that the Lady is not too hot on religion and deities. For something like this I doubt she would act, but who knows the mind of the lady? I'll give you fair warning, one day, you might find yourself at risk from a flaying.
