PvP Rules, Reminder and Indepth

Below is quoted the base PvP rules and this announcement is reminder of their existence. As well as sorting out some of the "gray areas".
Server Rules wrote: 1.3) Player versus Player (PvP)
  - Consent required for PvP, if consent is not given, the decliner need to move elsewhere.
  - Would your character die in PvP, avoid conflict or contact for day, unless in character (IC) reasons give another result. (such as being captured)
  - Do not look for PvP for PvPs sake, there are servers built around it, this is not one of them.
The Consent Consent IS required. This means the player needs to have a choice to say "No, I am not interested", especially to new players. Preferred is to send a tell so there comes no confusion. Consent needs to be asked before combat, and before you 'prepare' for combat. In other words, you ask consent before you buff up, not after you're fully buffed. If you intend to use it for game mechanical combatting other character, you ask consent before doing it. The people whom declines consent are required to leave the scene. No, you can't stay there all bad ass and keep smack talking, you need to leave. [/li]
Consent and Assassinations

For purposes of Assassinations or where you want to keep identity, place and time secret, you still need consent, however, it needs not to be asked by you... you can ask another player to serve as middlehand for the tells and reveal only little if you so wish.

Incase someone declines consent, that's the end of story from game mechanical combat view. Though not necessarily end for assassination attempts, trying to poison food/drinks and what not are still option.
Roleplay and Game Mechanical Fighting Now the title might imply "roleplay fights", but that isn't really what I mean, what I mean is the roleplay right before the actual fight occurs, since during game mechanical PvP fight, you won't have time to emote or talk (save some builds). So what I mean is that if you want to fleshen out and keep more in character feeling to fights, I'd advice getting heavy on emotes and leaving good reaction time for other players to see that something is coming up (since ICwise mostly there would be small signs showing)... such as emoting placing your hand on sword hilt and gripping it, drawing out a scroll and unrolling it, taking out an arrow from your quiver, taking spellcasting stance... adding these small signs brings more feeling to the actual combat. [/li]
To The Death!

This is another part of roleplaying, lets stick to IC when deciding to what extend the combat occurs ;P it's rare times when people beat someone to death just because they said something of your mother (well unless evil) or if someone casts spell infront you. Sure blood probably appears relatively often on tavern brawls and such since it's not quite as modern society, but to death not always.
In Character Consent Assuming you're diehard roleplayer that wants to handle everything IC, then this part is for you. IC consent is possible only if okayed before hand with player, it doesn't mean that you have to okay it everytime, but at least one time. So new players should always have choice of avoiding still, but players you play with often and you're comfy with you can go all IC. (assuming they approve that is) [/li]
