Hello,

It has been a while since I played NWN, but I was thinking of getting back into it. However, I have been unable to establish a connection to the server. I have tried both the master list in game, and direct connecting to "104.43.200.246:1033". With both I get the same message of a failure to connect, and a thymeing out of the connection.

Am I using the correct address for the SCOD server? It has been so long since I have played that I cannot recall if this was a common issue, so I do not recall what the fix is. Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

Please refresh my memory: Is there any functional difference between ECL and LA for a race?

ECL = Effective Character Level. It combines Level Adjustment, Racial Levels and Character Levels. So a character that has Level Adjustment +3 and is level 10 wizard would be ECL 13.
LA = Level Adjustment. It is a balancing factor for all the racial abilities you get.
