I've tried all these, but the GPU drivers are still crashing.
Luckily, the game comes back to life in bout 5 secs...
Still annoying though!

Robby: You shouldn't have to uninstall your current graphics card drivers to install the correct one. Also, make sure you are downloading a fresh install directly from your manufacturer or the software developer, which in this case, is Nvidia.

Here is the link to what you'll want to download: http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook_w ... _whql.html

Installing that is what fixed the problem for me.

I had the same problem with finding .NET for Windows 7. Downloading the .NET 3.5 applet from Microsoft did nothing.

In the Control Panel, there is an option to "add windows features" or something like that. I am not near a Windows 7 machine atm or I would give you more precise directions. (Thank you, Silmalia, for helping with that!)

You can activate .NET 3.5.1 from there. I think there are two little checkboxes to click. I have no idea if it will do anything for your crashes, but it may, since as I understand it, .NET is suppose to solve a lot of common errors.

Personally, I have not yet been able to figure out how to get DX 9.0c and DX 11 to operate simultaneously. Everything I have read says that they cohabitate without difficulty, but when I tried installing DX 9.0c it did not work. *shrug* Anyway, that's not an issue for you since you have DX 9.0c already.

I have had some problems with water reflections on 185-ish nvidia drivers. If you are using those you might try turning water reflections off. This was often particularly murderous in the beastlands.

I got the 197.16 drivers, and the game still occasionally crashes the drivers.
Less frequently though!
Also, I found the check boxes with .NET 3.5.1 or what ever and checked them all.
Maybe improvement is in thy future!

I'm glad the drivers helped! I know they helped me a lot. And definitely try what Ravel mentioned.
