Palemaster Summons?

Hi hi,

Just a quick easy question, and nobody i ask seems to know the awnser.

Im just wondering if the palemaster class summons have been made better, like the rest of the summons in the game. Just courious, i may be willing to take some palemaster levels for my widdle necro if they have. If not, then i dont think its really worth it on this server. = /

If anyone knows, please let me know.

Not currently, but if all goes well, hopefully in a couple of weeks they will be. Also, other summons will be adjusted somewhat then too.

Another Summons which needs major enhancements or replaced entirely is Summon Creature VII's Djinni. It has an AC of 16, HPS 45, attacks with it fists, doesn't cast spells, and dies in about ten seconds. It can be bufffed, sure, but overall seems to be the worst summons I've seen so far given the spell level.

. . and I'm sure it's been mentioned elsewhere, but I'll put in a vote for alignment-specific summons for the ninth level spell Gate

Not entirely sure, but it seems Summon Creature IX is already doing the Gate's job, their purpose seems overlapped somehow if they both have the same summon depend on alignment.... Even if it end up to be different creatures that's summoned, it still doesn't make sense because they are both Nineth spell and it can't be one stronger than the other.... can It?

May be give some other effect to gate? I don't know... PnP Gate seems can do hell a lot more stuffs... may be cast gate then your PC is teleported back to the city center?!

Anywho, this is getting away from the main topic... :P

Like I said, summons will be adjusted, these are already fixed in new version. Locking this thread so I don't have to wade through all the suggestions that are already fixed. Feel free to start new thread after the fix is released and inevitable balance issues props up with newly changed summons.
