So, not to sound sexist or anything, but I've noticed a massive influx in women compared to what there used to be. In fact, I only seem to see women, and a random guy here and there. But more so, all these women seem to have relations with each other. I just have to ask, did some sort of Social server move residence over to Sigil? Normally this wouldn't bother me to much, but if I had to read another post about someone being a futa, or trying to subtlety imply they have a penis, I'm going to slash my wrists.
I'm all down for people doing the naughty or whatever, but... Oh my jeezus.
Edit: To make things clear. The fact that they are women, or even a lot of them, isn't a problem. Nor is whatever they want to be.
Big problem.
Paladin does something that is breaking their oaths. All for the reason of ERP. Regardless of whether that character would do that or not, and the people Sigil attracts, the Deity would not allow this. This person would be a fallen paladin if they went through with such things. Said things would be completely against their oaths.
This is a problem that isn't always related to ERP. It is simply most commonly mixed in with ERP, and the people in this particular community. At least among those that commonly hang out around the Bazaar. If characters want to do these things, they should at least accept the consequences such actions would have.
So Many Women.

Well, NWN2 does count as an MMORPG... Many men online role playing girls.
EDIT: To be fair, female PCs do have far better customization options, ... but I'm not sure that alone warrants having a 5:1 gender ratio almost every time I visit the bazaar.

"To each their own" is the healthiest and most appropriate response that can be given.
We don't need to gossip about what other people do in private, even if some people have a hard time keeping their private talk private. This is just not the server for that.

It isn't gossip, when they are openly discussing it in the middle of the Bazaar. I don't particularly want to read how large some one's penis is. Not in the bazaar anyways. There is a MASSIVE influx of women lately and plenty of them are turning it into a social server. If I wanted to be on a social server, I would be. Again, I don't mind people roleplaying their sex, but it would be nice if they didn't let their ERP, get in the way of their RP.
Anyways, that is my last words on it then. A reminder to people that this isn't a social server, would be awesome, but, that is all I can hope for.

NWN2 doesn't really count as a MMORPG <_< nothing massive about it, and people are just too lazy to write multiplayer. And I always thought "multiplayer online" is redundant since it's fairly rare that you're going to get more than a co-op without online capabilities, and without multiplayer it seems redundant to even call it online. NWN2 I call at best a multiplayer RPG. But then that's just my pet peeve!
As for the actual topic. This isn't actually anything particularly new and tends to go in waves. A lot of players tend to play characters of both gender, because you know... they like to make variety of characters with personalities. Apart from that, as Tomekk already mentioned, customization does actually play a big part in it, for every single hair style males tend to get, females get like 6 or so. At some point every male character looks pretty much the same and it gets really boring to look the same as everyone else.
Another which plays a big part is expectations/preferential treatment, like it or not, both genders are treated differently and there's a believed different expectations from them. "If you aren't a strong-in-spirit male, you're a wimp to be mocked" tends to make pretty boring and one dimensional characters, some variety? Definitely, but after some point it gets tiresome. Also by the way, it's not entirely true, but I feel that's what people feel like, sheer majority of males just have this "alpha male" aura to them. In comparison a female can be pretty much anything they want without judgement.
