Just want to mention cause its important whats described in feat or spell description and what the engine actually does behind the scenes is often vary different. Like the spell enlarge does not actually make you bigger it just gives ya +2 enchantment to str +3 magic damage and - 2 pen to dex, and then applies a magnifying vfx to your model.

Im fairly certian as bugsidion seems to have s knack for the simple approach is IKd grants + 4 to check and allows to effect + 1 size.

So, if the game is checking your size before applying the bonus to your knockdown attempt, IKD doesn't do anything for huge creatures. If it's just applying a +4 bonus for having the IKD feat then it works.

I understand that it's probably a pain to find this out - I was just curious if anyone knew how KD was coded. Maybe someday I'll sit around and try it out - maybe the combat dummies will let me do it?

The combat log should give out a roll based on d20 + strength + size so shouldnt be hard to figure out.

Now the real question is if huge dragons really even need IDK one benifet is null there isnt gargantuan let alone Collasol creatures to knockdown and with your normal roll mod averaging +27 so say str check vs 28 - 47 how many mobs are actually gonna save against that the + 4 would be unnessary overkill much the same as having an AC of 90 when the highest hitting mob attacks with a mod of 64.

Yeah Plaxy, that's what I was thinking. Not worth a feat for another +4 unless you plan on running around tipping over other huge dragons all the time. Is dragon tipping a thing? It should be...

To add how huge a min roll of 28 is ((no pun intended or maybe it is)) a Medium Creature with 50 str would still need to roll an 8 to beat your 1 . now this would be a 40 str dragon, to be on even footing a Huge Dragon but need 26 str.
