We Americans call it soccer and our other game football for the same reason we have nascar. Or have not switched to a metric system. Tradition and stupidity.

Arena football is fun they have not choice but to throw someone down. Or hockey someone always get smashed against the wall.

since Czech rep. did not make it to World Cup this year *sigh* I will most likely support Slovaks, even though that they went through from our group at our expense. I have ....reasons to support them :P . Not overzealous tho, I hope I will just enjoy good football (like Germany yesterday, poor Aussies but hell, Germany played really well)
