Ever watch Django? Dr Schultz (played by the Awesome Christoph Waltz) is an example of what I am thinking of. He's a killer... very expert at it and makes a fortune collecting bounties but he does so with a civilized touch and knows the ins and outs of the law to keep him safe from incarceration. He's certainly not a 'good person' but has good tendencies. He doesn't think twice about killing a man in front of his son just to collect the bounty but at the same time will act compassionately to those not in his sights.
I ahvent seen any of those films.. but have seen "the profesional" it seems similer to your example, the killer had morals no wemon, and no children. and i think he killed others clean, not like torture tactics and such where used .. its a good film where the hitman takes in a little girl who's family was a victum of a hit by crooked cops tied to a drug ring. the hitman who tok in the girl had no involvemt in the hit on her family btw

Update : i know alignment is all up for interpretation, but I alwasy felt Chaotic Good would fit a personality of a rebel. as they fight the governmet thus breaking the law but have good intentions for thier cause. ( kinda simmiler in this case witha twist) but yes somthing Nutral can work too :)

example of definition on Morality is : principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior.

now even with that said, alignmet can still be inturpritaed in a number of ways :)

Saw the movie and loved it. Yes... that would be something akin to this.

ok, just pitching in a possible idea on the list of folks and their jobs.. but before that i'm just clarifying something

"the Information keeper" would that be a person who would get the info and deliver it to whomever. basically a public figure for folks to contact and heshe relyas the messages is what i'm asking?

aslo perhaps something for a feild-medic? example of a cleric taht might fit (concept wise with a grain of salt taken from it) Luthor Huss

I dont know any gods of vengece and such that will fit really D&D wise as im still quite new and learning

While just throwing 'Information keeper' out there as a possible concept (without demanding it be played as such) was someone who knew everyone. Someone who has the contacts in the 'information networks' of the city, someone who can get whatever information is needed to get things done. We don't have Hackers but it would be the 'Sigil' equivalent :)

Gods of "vengeance":
- Hoar
- Horus-Re
- Chamiee
- Calistria (arguably)
- Trithereon
- Heironeous (from viewpoint of righting wrongs)
- Ragathiel
- Sekhmet
- Bast

There's more, I'm sure. But a quick Google search turned these up.

Questions are good. A good group concept is created through the sharing of ideas :)

Looks like most of the roles have been claimed/are filling up fast, so if you're looking for a DM to run a few events - hit me up! I'd be happy to run something for you.

Roles don't have to be unique nor do they have to be finite. If someone wants to join, there doesn't need to be a limit on what kinds of characters there are.
