No, its shield bonus. And Shield is limited to +4 and does not last long, as well as being dispellable.

^ IÂ’m afraid all of the above basically requires you to be an arcane spell caster yourself.
Unfortunately, UMD skill it is not a class skill to the majority of classes.
Using scrolls becomes redundant to anyone short of epic level UMD when the game difficulty is set to D&D Hardcore or Very Difficult.
IÂ’m not sure but I think that Rods and Wands require smaller UMD check than scrolls and perhaps even regardless of game difficulty. Thus using those might be more plausible solution compared to scrolls. (With the craft wand costs around roughly 350 jink per spell level, spell casters might even consider crafting wands.)
Well, what about bracers with Shield spell with X/charges per day?

/Edit:
Raneguin, they would still lack the shield Base AC.

There is a Brooch of Shielding standard item, I guess we can think about adding that to the loot lists or making it craftable or something. Lets see, but thanks for the suggestion.

Now, I do not have a single clue how these things could be added to the game without considerable effort, but here they go:
Possibility to make inverted daggers in the appearance changers. Or perhaps certain inverted daggers could be sold by weapon merchants. Invisible Blade berks galore.

Wings for Dragon Disciples.
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NW ... ail&id=324
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NW ... ail&id=285
And the even more difficult task regarding the said class, make them turn into a half-dragons themselves and suffer from the ECL +3 penalty, preferably stacking with all existing penalties. The ELC penalty could slowly grow as you take more levels in the class.
- With great power, comes great ECL penalty. *wink*
Just an idea, no need to start rattling the tooth box.
But wings at least would be pretty awesome.

Tintable Red Wizard Robes:
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NW ... ail&id=355
Honestly, Red Wizard Robes are one of the best looking clothing found in the game and it is a real shame that you cannot tint their robes.
And one thing regarding the Shadowdancers, I've not tested this with the recent HotFix, but apparently the Shadow Daze DC is just (10 + Dexterity Modifier). I'm asking if that DC could be changed into that of (10 + Shadowdancer level + Dexterity Modifier) like it was in the original NWN.
Assassins get (10 + Assassin Level + Intelligence Modifier) for their Death Attack DC, just like they did in the original NWN.

I think there are inverted daggers. I recall seeing them as I cycled through my wizzy's dagger choices.Lost and not Found,Aug 22 2009 wrote: Possibility to make inverted daggers in the appearance changers. Yes, I think there is one option for inverted dagger. And I must say some of those other daggers could pass off as long swords. But I'm not complaining.
I ask yet another thing, would it be possible to have a NPC that could change your deity? For example if a Clueless converts and becomes an Athar because of roleplay encounters? Etc.

We already have wings in the module, and I myself tested playing a half-dragon during alpha stage. We're just reluctant to allowing anyone play them just yet, and how to decide who gets to play them (since every powergamer out there is going to murder to be allowed to play one).
So thats just one thing to be patient with ;)
