My level 10 Chaotic Good Drow Ranger stood behind a merchant's stall and all was quiet.

My Yuan-ti Spirit Shaman came to the disheartening conclusion that the Appearance Changer cannot give his armor the skull shoulder from the default SS outfit.

went around being spooky and scared other players. Yelled at two characters for watching shiv change his clothes in the changing room, then threw jink at merchant with comment "BUY A DAM DOOR".
Then killed a nymph, later I think he will do it again with a comment of "scream for me.".

Hehe...little late on that one...
Anyway, here is a rough summary of what I did most recently (with very sincere apologies for any inaccuracies and the caveat that I was running this plot at 4-6AM my time!)
*************************************
Tela collapsed at the feet of Gwyn, Neli, and Nic in the Lady's Ward. Kelth showed up just as Tela pressed a complex-looking rune into Gwen's hand and died with the plea, "Take the to the Band of the Rose. He is coming."
Kelth tried to save her unsuccessully.
Everyone looked at the item, and Kelth recognized the rune as Sharran, though none of them spoke the language. Gwyn examined the wound that killed Tela and found it to be cold and gray-appearing. She also searched Tela's body and found a medallion lacquered with a rose surrounded by seven stars.
None of the party noticed the shadow with glowing red eyes watching from up the slope in the direction from which Tela had appeared. (Failed spot checks)
The party discussed the Band of the Red Rose, but none knew exactly what it was. Kelth and Neli both felt as if it sounded like a group of adventurers, and Kelth thought that the name might have a religious connotation.
Neli elected to go speak with one of the two contacts she knew who might have information about the Band of the Rose. The others took Tela's body to the Dusties.
Neli spoke to the tattoo artist, who had some information for her. He agreed to sell. She offered jink, which he declined derisively. Instead, he would sell in exchange for her promise to perform a service for him at some future time.
Neli agreed. She gave a single strand of hair to bind her to the agreement (blood is so gauche). She made the condition that the task not be something that violates her own code of right and wrong. I think that he was secretly disappointed that she was wise enough to make such a condition, but he agreed. He also agreed to use the hair only to find her should he need to, not to use in other other spell or compel her in any way. Being a devil, he will keep his word.
The artist told Neli that the Band of the Rose was a small group of adventurers from some minor prime material plane. They were paladins in service to a goddess of magic, namely Mystra. He snidely mentioned that Neli would, of course, have noticed the way the Band of the Rose emblem Tela carried had both the Rose and the seven stars of Mystra.
In any case, he explained that as Mystra's devotees, they naturally opposed Shar. The Band's most notable achievement, he said, was imprisoning Shar's champion, Revath Nar, in a pocket plane. He told her that Guston, the only surviving member of the Band could most commonly be found in the Hall of Records.
Neli rejoined Kelth, Nick, and Gwyn, and they travelled to the hall to meet Guston. The heroes found the ancient paladin and told him about Tela. They also passed on her message that "He is coming." Guston nearly fainted. He explained that the runestone was the key to Revath Nar's prison, as well as a monitor that would inform them if Nar began to break free. He explained that as the original Band grew old and infirm, they had passed the duty of watching the stone to their children, and to their children's children, and so forth.
He also intimated that disaster would ensue if Nar did break free.
Kelth was in favor of going directly to the plane, beating Nar down, and renewing the wards that held him. Gwyn did not trust Guston, and Neli took more of a, "That's nice, but I am not the hero-type" approach.
Guston told them that they were of course to do what they liked, but pointed out that if Shar's Champion was capable of reaching from his prison to kill Tela, that he likely knew that both Neli and Gwyn had handled the keystone, and that he would almost certainly assume that they had had a hand in his imprisonment.
Guston asked for the stone, saying that he could use it to open a portal to the pocket plane. Gwyn did not want to give it to him, and wanted to try activating the stone on her own. (UMD check.) (If she had, she had a 35% chance of activating the stone. If it had activated, she had an even chance of each of three outcomes: 1) Opening the portal; 2) Freeing Nar completely; or 3) Unintentionally imprisoning herself in the pocket plane. Wish she had done it! :P )
Rather than give Gwyn the stone, Neli cast Protection from Evil on herself, and told Nar that he could have the stone if he could take it from her. Guston took the stone, convincing her that he was not evil.
He took the stone and manipulated it so that it glowed purple. He stopped just short of opening the portal, and told them to prepare themselves. He said that he could not go with them, but that he would help them as best he could. He gave them a few potions of heal, a couple of restoration scrolls, three resurrection scrolls, and a couple of minor magic items.
The party asked for advice on how to handle Nar. Guston told them that he would not strike himself unless he had no choice, and that he would remain in the shadows unless he had no other recourse.
He opened the portal, and the party stepped into the pocket plane which had been turned dark and creepy by Nar's long captivity. The party fought a variety of shades, nightwalkers, and a few reavers. There was one ugly battle in which two characters died, but they were resurrected. Revath Nar showed up a couple of times to taunt the party and retreat to the shadows, (standard CRPG fare :P ) which really seemed to aggravate Kelth!
Finally, the party defeated Nar, activated the wards, and escaped back to Sigil.

That was a fun quest Ravel. You forgot the part though where Neli managed to to single-handedly slay Nar and save her friends, all the while managing not to break a sweat, or blemishing her pretty dress.
Oh yeah, and there was also "You have three wishes, and don't wish for more wishes thing"
Personally, I'm going for some shiny Mary-Jane shoes and Diety-hood!
Woot! I rule!
