I really like how some servers use custom/ unique PrCs or they just simply translate these prestige classes out of pnp. Some prestige classes can make for some really interesting characters.
One of my favorites is the Mystic Theurge for example. I suppose this could go under a vote for new classes.

Crafting, of the Non Spellcaster kind...
I've noted some things in my past month or so of trundling around Sigil and thought I might put my two cents in regarding the future. I'd like to start off by saying it's great. I've enjoyed the servers build, community and the choices and things that have been done here in bringing the Planescape environment to life. I played Planescape Torment years ago and felt it was probably the best written CRPG I'd ever seen... to my surprise, the writing and story and gameplay held up through many years after that, so returning to the setting as it were and seeing the old Mortuary where your character would start out and resurrect in that game, or walking through the environs of Sigil, both are impressive and keep me coming back as a setting to play in.
If anything though, I'd love to see more roleplay of the factions. Admittedly the player base is not necessarily large enough to actually have players be the movers and shakers of a faction, but I think maybe there should be some ability to interact with factions, perhaps faction NPCs that check your faction and offer special quests to you specifically to be accomplished for the faction. Also perhaps some DMs could find factions they particularly like and make some contact NPCs for those Factions, thus you definitely have some "hooks" that players can get into faction specific roleplay with.
Another thought that comes to mind has to do with crafting. Spellcasters can create some items here, though the things they can add seems to have been severely curtailed in some regards, such as no dodge bonus on boots which were primary source of such, no regeneration and a few other things... so basically spell casters enchanting things can't reproduce things that CAN drop by the normal loot system. That's a bit disappointing, but perhaps it's matters of balance or time.
Crafting without spells though is more my thoughts right now. We've got several craft skills in game... Craft Alchemy, Craft Weapon, Craft Armor, Craft Trap (?). Someone who puts alot of points into some of these can do some nice things... in theory... If I choose to sink 20 points of skill into craft weapon though, it's sort of overkill. Despite being incredibly skilled, all that means is I have a far higher DC for creating silver weapons. I can find iron, silver, darksteel in game... and there are items that are made of mithril, adamantium, true steel and perhaps some woods, but no source for many of these materials. Further more, it seems there are no masterwork recipe molds. I realize it's perhaps not everyone's bag of tricks, but I and some others like to make nifty and unique or interesting gadgets and items. If we spend 25 points in Craft weapon or craft armor, it might be nice to make it a bit better or different than the armor or weapon that is made by someone with 5 points of skill only.
On some servers I've been, when your skill got to certain levels your created item had a chance of having some additional minor and interesting properties. Not magic mind you, but normal attack bonuses, weight reductions... maybe damage bonuses (not dice or elemental, usually extra slash, bludgeon or pierce). It might be nice to have some sort of high end for the non magical crafting, other than simply having a point where you have no reason to actually put more points into the skill. Also might be nice to have access to the required ingots to make things in true steel, adamantium, mithril, even if they are hard to get or limited in how many you can get per day. That's about it though right now. Hope you don't mind that' it's a bit more than 2cents worth perhaps.

Faction activity will likely be stronger once the rest of the guild locations are in.
As is, that means the following are expected to be added in the next big update:
The Gatehouse (Bleakers)
The Prison (Mercykillers)
City Court (Guvners)
Hall of the Speakers (Signers)
Quake's Place (Xaosmen)
I may have forgotten some. X)

Smite me if this is somewhere on the forums and I missed it, but...
I was hoping for something on the Laws of Sigil. perhaps some public postings on the basic laws and for folks like the harmonium, Guvners, and mercykillers- something like a book that has much more detail on law and punishment.
