One person is not a "crowd". Look, I edited the post after the first comment.FiveWhats,Jul 29 2016 wrote:Well, no. You edited the first post with the no discussion part after people started posting in it. It seems more like you made the thread itself to be inflammatory.Shadowcryer,Jul 29 2016 wrote: I stated this being just a poll, not a discussion. But everyone started to flame. :(

The humans from the Matrix aren't clones, actually, but I can see how someone might make that mistake.Shadowcryer,Jul 29 2016 wrote:Of course, I just opened eyes to everyone, that they all clones from Matrix.FiveWhats,Jul 29 2016 wrote: You can call it what you want, but your opinion isn't shared by anyone else in this thread, (possibly also in the server considering how commonly used these things are) save for your friend.
See, while the surviving human population in this fictional, dystopic take on the 21st century have been plugged into and effectively repurposed into batteries for the victorious artificial intelligence that now rules over them, they are all individuals with unique genetic makeups because while the artificial intelligence does have to replenish their numbers eventually, it does so through artificial insemination and not strictly cloning.

I never stated Matrix characters to be a clones. I meant, that character's on SCoD all have the same program injected in their minds, which makes them "cloned" in some sense.Love_on_a_Wire,Jul 29 2016 wrote: The humans from the Matrix aren't clones, actually, but I can see how someone might make that mistake.

Like Neo uploaded Kung-Fu skills, everyone bought the same disk with UMD and Tumble.

I can see where you're coming from, but in said titular film directed and written by the The Wachowskis, the reality humans are all plugged into might be shared, but each individual's experiences and skills are individual.Shadowcryer,Jul 29 2016 wrote:I never stated Matrix characters to be a clones. How else would Neo, played by actor and literal immortal Keanu Reeves, transcend the limits of the Matrix?
Edit: Made a rude mistake.

I'm not saying it's a crowd you donut. The reality of the situation is that the poll is pretty irrelevant. The lack of interest in anyone voting in it doesn't really matter. You made this thread to insult the playerbase because you felt like you were being called out on "powerbuilding." I haven't been in game much lately and I haven't seen this happen firsthand, but I'm going to optimistically assume this actually happened and you're not just fabricating a story to be rude to people on the internet.
..which is weird, because I distinctly remember you complaining about vampire sacred fist powerbuilds in another thread.
Was this really about roleplaying?

Almost everyone has Tumble 10 exactly, and UMD 13. Not very "individual".Love_on_a_Wire,Jul 29 2016 wrote: I can see where you're coming from, but in said titular film directed and written by the The Wachowskin Brothers, the reality humans are all plugged into might be shared, but each individual's experiences and skills are individual.
