What are you people's thoughts on that?
I think it could be more interesting if all the characters were at roughly the same level.
Sully is currently level 13. He's at the point that travelling alone is becoming dangerous. I'm all for grouping but can't commit to specific times at the moment. You'll have to give me a shout if you see me log in. It's my Viper901 account.

I meant more in a... If we're going to have RP events, it would be more interesting if we were all around the same level and similar skill-levels.

Rob answered the question regarding Events after I brought up concerns with player character targets and PVP rules of engagement

Leader should be a Lawful Neutral type it sounds.

Scrogg is pushing epic levels atm, since I started the char before the group came to life.
I suppose I could reroll him if the group settles on lower level chars, though I'm really all for the suggestion made earlier about just playing stuff as it comes along. Levels are only about the mechanics of the game itself anyways, and I feel confident that we should be able rp our way out of such things. :D

Though like I said, I could just reroll if that is what we decide on. Shouldn't be too big of a woop. ;)

I was more concerned about events and if skill checks and similar come into play.
Won't be much fun for the the rest of the people if it's just the epic-level players dominating everything.

Have a character I've just designed around this group concept. His name's Flick. He's a Pixie rogue. Of course if the group doesn't come to be for some reason, I'm still gonna play him.

@Rayanne

True that, but it should still be fairly easy to circumvent. We are properly not likely to go hunting as a full group many times, as the whole concept is about the group's leader picking and choosing the resources to use on said jobs.
You got a couple of lower levels online? Send them to Undersigil or to Oinos on a gig. Got a sole high level online? Send her to the Abyss to collect the bounty on a daring adventurer. Got one low level and one high? Split em up and have the low level out gathering Intel in the Hive Ward and the high level doing the actual hit itself based on the low level chars info.
It's all about the events created and the EM's running them. And Id dare say that they could easily put together many tasks involving both high and low levels, even at the same time.
Plenty of possibilities exists imho. And plenty of rp-xp for all involved. :beer:
