So... I started to make plenty items again and thought about asking ya lot, what kind of items would you like to see?

Feel free to go wild!

Think you know interesting set of magical or alcohol drinks? Well share those oddities with all!

Stein with unlimited Baatorian Ale? Sure! That's cool one.

Boots, what kinda boots would thee like to see?
Think we lack bracers and gloves? Give ideas for those too!
And we all know different kind of armors would be nice too. *nods*

So feel free to post them if you don't feel like making them in toolset, i'll make them instead :P

Dwaren mug of drinking.

Tired of idiots interrupting his drink or breaking it over some fools head. Ulric Ironshod paid a wizard to enchant his favorite stein. "Make er sturdy" he said. While still not the best thing to hit someone with in a bar fight, it does well in pushing blades to the side. Ulric became very well known for drinking while punching someone in the most rugged of bars. He lost a few of these mugs, first one rumored to be after a half-orc bashed him over the head with a table.

Those crafters are never online, you see.
As Mausman says, it would take the reason to play a crafter. Though expected idea, we did think this at one time good time ago, but decided against it, for same reasons we decided against adding alchemical silver/cold iron weapons already made to stores.

There's always one way to solve the crafters are never online problem, play a crafter ;) I know it's not always so very inviting idea especially since other own characters might be more interesting, but it's always an option.

Entropic Blade (greatsword form for Orion)
wrote:During his time as a member of the lower ranks, a Doomguard is mostly free to pursue the cause of Entropy as he sees fit. He is expected to follow his own initiative in promoting Entropy and applying for promotions. However, to enter the ranks of the factors requires another personal investiture. To become an Entropic Champion is to fully embrace one specific quest in the pursuit of overall Entropy. Once that quest is chosen, the new Champion is bonded to his quest, as well as the primary weapon to be used to carry out that quest. This weapon is the famed entropic blade of the Doomguard. These are weapons that are made from the substances of the negative quasi-elemental planes. They are linked to the mission through the life force of their paired Champion.

This is possible because each entropic blade is made specifically for each individual Entropic Champion. The first portion of the ritual involves the new factor receiving a highly modified version of the geas spell, binding the Doomguard's spirit to the chosen quest. Once done, a portion of skin equal in size and shape to the sword being made is flayed from the Champion. (This is why all but the most fanatical of Entropic Champions wield short swords.) This skin, and hence a portion of the geas, is then made an integral part of the blade. Essentially, a small
portion of the Champion's life force has been bound within the weapon, allowing the blade to "come awake" when used in pursuit of the quest.

Mmmmmmm greatsword... :respect:

Granted much of the description above would need to be roleplayed, but that's fine.

I hope you're not encouraging me to start muling items. It is against the rules, and I really shouldn't be the one telling you that.

As for "removing the point" in rolling a crafter, I disagree. The bazaar is already filled with greedy NPC merchants. Thus I would argue that the idea behind greedy NPC crafters wouldn't be that far fetched.

For example, with one of my characters I am trying to collect enough jink to buy the Gloves of the Hin Fist +5. Without question, I would prefer buying it from a fellow player. However, since I've not found a player supply for the gloves, I am stuck with the Civic Festhall route and a pricetag of 22 000 jink.

However, trying to get the boots enchanted with some bonuses to reflex saves, I'm simply stuck with the whimsy fellow players. If they are online, good - if they are busy, not so good.

Well, I've said my piece about that and that's that. -_-

Staff of Fiendish Darkness:

A staff of fiendish darkness is a bone or ebony staff with a metal claw at one or both ends. They were used by the humans and drow serving demons and devils, and contain the darkness spell, and two each of the animate dead, dispel magic and summon monster IX spells. The last of these can only summon nightmares. If a good-aligned creature holds this staff, one level is temporarily drained until he or she puts it down. The staff is worth around 98,000 gold pieces.

More Boots of Hardiness. There's hardly enough of the hardy boots.

Food for thought:

I can dink around with items in toolset, just wanted to see if there is platform to have these around as well?

ofcourse, these would HAVE to be epic rare barely able to find in loot :P

as NOT to promote grinding

To NOT promote grinding, then all those items should be readily available.

Because, the longer you "grind" the higher the chance of obtaining those rare items becomes.

It is inevitable, Mr. Mausman. B)
