I have a character with the Change Self ability and so the first time doing so you have to set their permanent "look". The only problem is I don't know what each body part ID looks like, or what effect choosing a color for body parts such as skin, etc. is going to look like. Looks like it uses a hexadecimal color ID. And choosing the color from the slider...it's easy to choose like the hair, but I'm not sure how to get say a general human Caucasian flesh tone. I don't want to choose the wrong color and have it turn out to be some really odd skin color or something. Would be nice if the editor had a preview window or something.

I thought the editor would actually change you and then show changes as you selected choices? I remember it doing that for Marquis Cambion and for Succubus/Incubus...

I'll recheck. I had my view of him blocked.

Having used change self recently on a rakasha I was able to hit apply before saving the changes. Now Rakasha can change their appearance as much as they like so I don't know if it is different.

Yeah I'm gonna try this tomorrow. Don't have the time today. I'll just have to try to either move the window or try to rotate the screen to move my character in to a viewable angle. :)

Ok I worked it out. I was afraid to hit the apply button because I thought that would finalize the change. So hitting the apply button just applied the changes temporarily. It was a pain in the rumproast to do though, because I couldn't move the window out of the way to see my character. I had to change the camera type and try to get them on the edge out of the way of the window. And even then, I couldn't get a very clear view. But I managed to get it done.

The window is definitely way too large.

A normal human flesh tone is probably something like #F0D0C0?

I mean, you can probably just google 'hexidecimal colour' and find a site that'll tell you what colour is what.

I resent and object to your definition of "normal". :P

Well, normal for round here anyway. I live in the north of England in a shitty little town where everybody votes conservative. The only people I know who aren't white are the people running the chippy and the Indian takeaway.
