Faction based prestige classes for the members of the said factions. Kind of like Shadow Thief of Amn and Neverwinter Nine required the history feat in order to be available in the original campaign.

Link for examples: http://www.geocities.com/findorian/index2.html (I think NWN2 engine can be used to create something similar.)

Not too shabby an idea. I always like some new toys to play with from time to time. Somedays I just can't come up with any new ideas for characters (it took me ages to flesh out anything about Nastasia... hehe, Nastasia... flesh out. Tee hee.)

I know that it can be done. I've seen some interesting PRC's (and base classes too!) out there.

I agree they could be nice and interesting, but also during the early beta we will be cautious of adding too much of new custom content (spells/classes/races), since they are known to easily cause problems, so slowly and neatly we will first see that our current content doesn't have problems that would cause unwanted lag or crashes which no one likes in the end ;)

They will be kept in consideration for future however.

I careful about custom prc's, both because of balance issues, and more importantly how much players will whine about those (alleged) issues.

And such things inevitably leads to less stable server as well, not to mention people picking factions based on powers instead of roleplay.

All that said... I have toyed with the idea of faction benefits, in form of feats or other things... but like MrO says, we won't rush such things...

There's so much new to explore in vanilla NWN2, with all the feats and classes. No need for extra stuff for a year or so at least, methinks.

A Vernacular Dictionary.

If there already is one, I must've missed it.

Here it is http://z13.invisionfree.com/nwn2planesc ... owtopic=87

We will make in game version of it also, although it will be made shorter and "new player friendlier".

Thank you for pointing it out eitherway though :)

edit: Hmm... I think I should edit that post to have some way to scroll down alphapetically.

NPCs (fashion dummies) like in NWN1 where you can customize the look/color of armor, weapons, and shields. :)

They have those, already.

There's one in the OOC area when you first log in. Then there are two mirrors in the Civic Festhall where you can go for a makeover.

Nice! Sorry, I haven't logged in yet since the beta (just checked the boards after a while :P ). And I'd mentioned it a while ago. So... *thumbs up*
