oh I already designed an assassin build yesterday. :D
in case I ever corner down shunt I can show him a new idea for his character. :D
rogue 16/ Assassin 9/ fighter 2/ swashbuckler
13d6 sneak should prove nice...Muahaha...ha.
I often pondered either Dwarven defender 6 or Frenzie beserker.
as for all ranger....bah.
And drow...well they all scream the same. :D

Well, the thing about assassin in this ranger-heavy build is the ability to flesh out tumble (need all the ac you can get)/umd if you want. Even with just like 10 int, you get 6 skill points a level. Hide, move silently, listen or spot, or both... survival or set trap, or both. Mix and match to save points for tumble and umd.
Leveling might be difficult though, you definitely don't wanna miss bane of enemies due to poor leveling plans.

One concept I have never figured out a good combo that I like. Ranger.
See they get Perfect TWF at level 21 if done right they also get bane of enemies then too +2d6 damage and +2 attack.
The real interesting part is they do not need the dex to get Perfect TWF so could go strength.
So, what would you design with those last 9 levels? and what feats stats etc to go with the 21 ranger.
:D Winner gets a cursed cookie I found in the trash.

Well, i did a test with a build useing ranger.. but its a powerbuild, no RP to it at all...
Anyways, heres the basics~
21 Ranger/5 Frenzy Beserker/1 Cleric/3 Fighter
Str/Charisma Baised. With 21 ranger, you get bane of enemies, perfected two weapon fighting, and access to all the yummy improved favored power attack feats, which stack with improved power attack and Frenzy Beserkers Frenzy Power attack.
With 1 cleric, you can take divine might, followed up later on by epic divine might, and get a few lil domain effects.
Frenzy Beserker stacks with rangers improved favored power attack, and if your useing a big weapon it can do silly amounts of damage, even if its unenchanted.
Fighter, really nothing else to take with the last three levels, so bonus feats are always a plus.
You can duel wield, or use a great weapon, depending on your mood. Your damage output with supreme power attack, and Favored power attacks stack, and the divine might is iceing on the cake. Very few buffing spells required, the only drawback is low AC due to Light armor and a Low Dex score, but if your looking for someone who can put the hurt on something, this is hard to beat.
Anyways, thats the basic skinnys of a build i fiddeled around with. Hope you likes. Again, not much RP value to it at all, unless you can think of a story for such wonky classes. But if thats your thing, then go for it.
XOXO

6Wiz/3EK or 6Sorc/3EK? Dunno hehe, never seen a ranger with arcane casting at least, might be fun.
With the wizard one you could use the bonus feat for Wandcrafting, which is damn useful usually. Provides some nice arcane buffs for your glass canon strength ranger. :P

The remaining nine levels should be all ranger.
Why you ask? Well, all rangers are chaotic-good scimitar wielding drow! You cannot go wrong with that one. (With the panther familiar thingie.)

For wandmaking, I'd consider just having the ranger levels (works for the caster level prerequisite) and use UMD to make wands from scrolls
I made a mercenary build once that had this, Ranger 4 / Rogue 3 / Assassin / BG (was built to work from low to 20ish level)... had to use practiced caster ranger to be able to get craft wand hehe... definately not uber, but very interesting build
