Do you need to have the base stats to qualify for casting or will enhanced do?

You can cast 9th level spells if you have 14 <ability> and +5 bonus from item, obviously assuming you have enough levels to qualify for that level spells too. Although I'd only take classes that don't fiddle with spellbooks incase some events cause you to re-equip such ability bonus items.

With warlock you don't need any charisma at all to qualify for higher level invocations, even having just 6 is enough. Your DCs will be junk, but who needs DCs anyway?

A tattoo from the Hive Ward is the best solution here, as they're always 'equipped'.

Pro tip: Just take the stat gives you spell slots. The DC one is pointless.

Agreed. It's different for offensive casters, but spirit shaman and fs just don't have too many spells worth having good dcs on.

No but they do have some of the best spells that have DC. Implosion, Blade Barrier, Mass Drown...you should totally make an implosion FS there hilariously fun dropping deadly Blade Barriers and insta snuffing Groups of mooks.
