The scenario is this; you see someone on the forums with gigantic post count, what is your first impression?

That's my first impression.

By the way...Your current post count is evil. 666.

It tells me that they spend a lot of time making useless threads and/or posts.

Like one about post counts, for example. :)

Yes and no

cuz...some of us don't have time to play all the hours of the day and still want to think 'game' and hence post. I like to think its because I'm part of the community, friendly to all and enjoy humour that I post my bits if something tickles or interests me....and of course there is story posting...but that is something different - that is my game fix during the work day usually cuz I can't play :D

Some of its spam, some just interesting titbits and silliness and..so what ? I say. Each to their own. Now....when it comes to hits on story posts.....*reviews that avidly*

I have to agree with Tildryn, you all fell for lost's not so cunning plan to boost post count...
