And I used change self like I was told. On another note I want thank your awesome DM staff. I asked the dm online too change my skin tint too see if it fixes it. Let make toon give my levels back. I can get no change works for me just delete the toon . You can level faster now that you know what your doing. Soooo okay I asked for port too the boatman to get rid of the toon I get no walk too gate house. Then someone he know asks and wow we get the port !!!!!!!!! .. So let's see I have no wings I can deal I lost 20 levels I can deal... Dm favoritism on top of it all you got too be kidding me !!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I understand they voulnteers and found nice before that who just did not have time. So waited for another one and this what I get as well as the whole dev team telling I have wing I do not I did everything they told me

I think it's more that if you know a DM as a friend, you tend to know how to get hold of them and alert them to a situation. I don't know if there's favouritism on this server, I've not been playing it long enough to say, but from what I've seen so far the DMs seem helpful and friendly, and I don't think they'd intentionally ignore you.

I'm really sorry to hear you've been having wing troubles. I believe the content is quite new and there are issues popping up that may take some time to mend. Meanwhile, your best bet is probably to keep asking for help, try to stay patient and not take it too personally. DMs/devs are people too, and they've got quite a lot on their plate with all the new racial changes recently.

To answer the first question: because reality is harder than fiction. Bugs have a cause that generally need to be identified, found and fixed. If it's hard to find a common phenomenon that's also unreproduceable by others ideally, it's hard to fix as scripts don't really care if you type in "give wings without error". That's the short answer to it, it's being looked at, but also understand to put things into perspectives: one players wings aren't exactly the most pressing matter in the server, understandably frustrating, but it's one of many agendas in the list.

Also, since we've gone from a strategy of having mostly the base game, to expanding quickly with new content instead, there's a lot more chances for some change to break something else unexpectedly.

Naturally we can't expect everyone to be patient with us, but we do tend to sort out bugs eventually.

Also, if you feel a DM treats you unfairly, you can always send the Staff a PM about it. More effective than a random post about it, imho.

Sincerely sorry you have issues with the wings, like Mr O said, it is being looked into.

It's hard to fix as scripts don't really care if you type in "give wings without error".

Given my experience with programming, if you actually could tell a script that, terrible, terrible things would happen.

Be patient, its not like this server is a paid service, everyone here is volunteer and sometimes EM/DMs are just afk or busy doing something else.

Without knowing both sides of the story, it is hard to offer any sort of judgement against either party.

From my own experience running events - even on this server - I can say that if I am in the middle of running an event for multiple players, responding to a single individual's request that might disrupt the pacing of a plotline or event can be difficult if it takes the DM away from the map they and the other players are on.
Oft-times it is like herding cats to keep individual players from running ahead (and amok!), triggering all of your dormant, not-yet-ready spawns.

It is possible that this is the case with your request, Dwarfking, and while I don't say so with any authority or fact, I would merely beg some understanding of the goings-on within the average EM or DM's 'office hours'.

Which is not to say or even imply that your request should be ignored, far from it! Obviously it is of importance to you that some manner of resolution come about, or at the very least you could receive a statement from the DM in question saying that at the time of your whisper they are unable to attend you.
That's probably the best practise, if the scenario I've put forward is anywhere near accurate.

Anyways, It looks as if you've already got our DM team looking into the matter. Here's hoping you're flapping around soon!

We also can't fix wings or Tint through the DM avatar, As to DM favoritism i can't speak much on that as i don't know the situation but we do stick to a, Do for one do for all policy. If you feel you are being miss treated feel free to contact me (or another if i am the issue) with screens and the matter will be looked into.
