Sigil: City of Doors

Alright, as most whom have interacted with Yziit probably know, the guy is a complete wreck, a mess, an outcast of society, lives in the sewers is covered in warts and rags and smells like a rotting corpse... Now here's the thing... I have plans to twist and turn his world a good bit.

Right now, he is of a Neutral alignment, a loner, scared of the people around him and feels that he cant trust anybody and the only thing he can do is to dive headlong into piles upon piles upon piles of books, scrolls and other knowledge... especially the darker forms, falling in with Necromancy and the Dustmen...

Now, I'm looking for influence... He has plenty of influence that would drag him down a quick and slippery hole into the depths of Evil and general all around disgustingness... what if by chance there was someone else? A kind and gentle soul that came around every so often and spoke words of encouragement? Maybe treat him with respect, teach him the ways of a civilized society and maybe even find a way to lessen that god-awful stench?

This would of course require a good level of patience from both the character and the player as well. Yziit has a speech pattern disorder, despite his 20+ INT.. a natural defect which sometimes makes it hard for him to get his message across... He's also a smelly little bastard covered in warts and bruises of all shapes and sizes.. I could only imagine that this would very well put even some of the most tolerant goody two-shoes on a path that leads in the complete opposite direction, not to mention the fact that he is not likely to trust anybody at first glance.

I want to see what can become of Yziit, even I dont know what will happen but as it stands, his options are limited into falling down that rabbit hole, would be nice if there were other factors involved, a tug-a-war for the soul of the Inhabitant of Undersigil...

Any players or even DMs that are interested in picking up this role, let me know eh?

*sighs* sounds like fun to me - right up my street to help with but I'm time limited and I've a pair of toons that would pull him in different directions at the same time - an angel who would understand that loneliness, that need to hide and help to draw him out to the light and uncover himself and a tricky pixie he's met before who would see him as a bit of fun and tease him something baaaad, get him to play with magics and pranks.


Sounds to me like you need a few influences and see what seems to fit and work for you for him :)

Back to topic though, Zilvai is around there. Once she sees whats past the stink cloud she might nudge him one way or the other. One never knows with her. ;)

I'll keep an eye out. My main wouldn't care much about his appearance, and is a sweetheart unless you catch her in a playful mood
