How does augmentation work with psionic powers? Is there only ever one "level" of augmentation, or does the augmentation scale based on your manifester level?

I began wondering this because the text of Crystal Shard on the Wiki says that you can increase the damage for each extra power point you spend augmenting it, but in-game when selecting it as a power it reads like there is only one augment option. Which one is correct? Will it only ever do 2d6 damage when augmented, or can it be augmented further like in pen and paper?

Augment is a mode you toggle on and off, it has no distinction between those two options. Meaning it will only do one thing when toggled on, or not do it when toggled off.

Yikes! That means powers like Crystal Shard can only ever do 2d6 damage (~6d6 if Twined and Empowered--which costs as many (or more?) power points than manifesting a 5th level spell/power anyways). Between that, not getting any of the bonus feats they're supposed to, no Quicken or Persistent Power, and no dedicated psionic PrCs, psions are pretty bad on this server.

Most of the staff that is in Pnp is nearly impossible to translate into NWN2 engine, so those modes were made and given to more or less cause of the Limitation. There are Two Racial Prcs that progress Psion and Cerebremancer, Most powers are either Save or Die, or Save and get hurt with some being weak and some being very strong, i Do plan on adding more scaling so they scale into the epics some more, much like Wizards and Sorcs do.
