Sigil: City of Doors

Hello there,

me and my girlfriend started to play on SCoD recently and read in the beginners guide, that it'd be more efficient to sell to PC's instead of NPC's. Is there some place dedicated to trading with each other or is there some server side mechanic to this we simply overlook?

Appropriately, the Great Bazaar is where most most players congregate and go to to sell things. :D

You can recognize player merchants mostly by them having chests in the Great Bazaar (pretty much the first area after you get out of OOC room). There won't always be merchants around, but almost always when there is some, they have better deals to offer. In absence of merchants, there have been added more affordable +1 and +2 basic items to the stores around Bazaar which are alright investments too, those aren't mentioned in the guides since they were added post-guide writing.

However almost every planewalker has excess junk they can share, so just getting friendly with locals and making "gosh I wish I had better items" notion subtly during conversation probably has positive results too.

We do not have whatever KEMO script lets you post items for sale in a custom UI, but we do have tools to set up chests and display items which people cannot steal from.

So, yeah, it's basically mostly through RP.
