I am pondering a design that would remove as much stuff as possible.

I figure a black guard /bard with two other classes would be nice. Trying to figure the rest.

So what would be the best combo you can figure?

Debuffer...
You want a lot of bard. Curse song is the best debuff in the game.
Curse of impending blades is nice, too, and they get that on their spell list.
Three blackguard for the aura. And then you could possibly get a couple levels of rogue for evasion to get expose weakness (debuffs ac too), maybe feint (not sure if losing dodge/dex ac like that counts as a debuff though?)
Dex based for expose weakness ticks, or possibly strength/charisma for divine might/epic divine might. Do more than debuff.

max dispel works against is level 19 caster. Figure most will go to at least 17 to get 9th level spells add in practice caster for longer duration and spell penetration and they exceed that ability to have it ever work.

blackstaff is neat for things lower then 19 caster level though above that = worthless for dispelling. :(

The bard/blackguard mix could definitely work well, especially if forwarding the bard into a few levels of Arcane Trickster along the way (pilfer magic is an underrated bit of nastiness). Of course, a lot of the options would depend on whether you're making a great grinding build, a great PvP build, or simply hoping to remove as much of your opponent's capabilities as possible.

Get the highest possible arcane caster level, and toss a Mord. :3

Best "weakener"... hmm... I'd go for cleric (or favored soul)/blackguard/warpriest. Blackguard for -2 saves to everyone nearby, warpriest for -1 more to everyones saves nearby. From clerical spell lists: energy drain, bestow curse, battletide, doom, bane, silence, blood to water, prayer, contagion/Mass Contagion, blindness/deafness. :P

The Warpriest class does have one often overlooked ability, once per day, a level five Warpriest can use class ability called "Fear Aura". When you activate it, all enemies within 20 feet radius must make a Will save against a DC of "10 + Warpriest class level + Warpriest's Charisma modifier" or fall under the under a Fear effect. It is not a hard thing to a get this ability DC in the range of 25-30+.

If we want talk about rotten class abilities, shadowdancer's, shadow daze, DC of "10 + Shadowdancer's dexterity modifier".

It's often overlooked since it doesn't last long at all, now if it would last for 5-10 minutes as an aura instead of be "burst of fear around you" it'd be alright. So better not build a character around it, if you have it, use it by all means, but not truly something to aim at.

Well, it is still potent against those player characters with low will saves. Hmn... giving it another thought, it'd be only usefull against Nym.

Edit: And isn't my newest box just shiny?
