Event Master (EM) is a special position granted to a player that allows them to run events on the server through the NWN2 DM Client without the added duties of being a moderator/administrator for the server.
It is one of the most fun and more rewarding things you can do on the server because you are literally bringing the action to the players just like if you were running a pen and paper campaign!

EMs are not Dungeon Masters (DMs) and cannot enforce server rules or take any administrative or corrective actions. They also cannot use the DM client to fix any major bugs, though need not ask for permission if the bug is something quickly fixed, such as replacing a bugged item or helping a player that died due to a lag spike. It's an old game and these little bugs happen a lot! In these small cases, just drop a DM a message of what the bug was and what you did to resolve it.How to Become an Event Master

Characters Played
Why do you want to become an EM?
What would you like to do as an EM?
- Will you do big plots, small plots, little encounters, small lighhearted encounters, etc.
Do you have any experience with D&D DMing and/or with the NWN2 DM Client?
- Experience is not required, but we'd like to know where you are at.
- If you have no experience, don't worry! We all start somewhere and we'll be more than happy to help you learn how to navigate the DM client, develop and execute plot, and how to do events!
