Ixia Larkspur and Shardek Silverisk were mauled by a Giant Horned devil near the indoor stage of the Smoking Hammer Inn. The key witness was a man named Domiscus, who was later interrogated by the Hardheads.
A statement released by the Hardies states that the Devil crushed Shardek and Ixia, then fleed the scene. Prompt help arrived in the form of local fashionista, Mercenary band leader, and soon-to-be on trial Ceszar. Though Ixia was revived promptly, Shardek, unfortunately, was dead-booked quite permanently.
Authorities have no suspects.
