Buried on page four of the days paper, threequarters way down the page is a small report.

The Lost Kender

"One Sensate Society member, Anis Padela, curate of the upcoming "Exhibition of Planescape Creatures and Races" that is due to take place within the Civic Festhall, reported a theft of one of the exhibits from outside the building as they were being unpacked and brought into the Festhall. The stolen exhibit was a stuffed Kender displayed in a glass jar. The curate noted to this SIGIS reporter -

"It was a prized specimen, a Kender who had managed to reach a ripe wizened age of 200 years. The taxidermist had managed to retain its smiling facial features on death, a rare sight in Sigil for one of this race. Our members and visitors to the exhibition are going to be sorely disappointed not to get to see this particular creature. However, the 'show must go on' and the exhibition will continue as planned"

The Harmonium guard called to the scene, interviewed the staff but little information was forthcoming from the embarrassed delivery staff other than there had been some distraction from a street urchin as they had unloaded the exhibits and the curate noting the missing exhibit after they had been brought into the building. It is doubtful that the guard will persue this theft further.

The Exhibition of Planescape Creatures and Races is due to open in the Festhall Art Gallery in two days time and will last a week. Sensate and non-Sensate members all welcome. Entrance fee is 50 jink.

The following days paper had a small piece written on page five as an update to this report

The Lost Kender - Found

The stuffed Kender exhibit, minus its display jar, was subsequently found two blocks away in an alley by a couple of tieflings who had apparently been seeking new location for some alfresco pleasures. The curate is reported to be extremely relieved when the body was brought to the Festhall, organised it to be resited in a new display jar and, as reward for its recovery, offered to the abyssal couple two free tickets to the exhibition.
