Last antipeak, a weapons shipment headed for the Baatorian city of Dis went missing after it left Sigil and traveled through Karasutra in the Beastlands. The caravan never arrived at the checkpoint.

Lord Jach Sensbane, the merchant sending out the shipment, has offered the reward of 100,000 jink for information pertinent to the caravan's fate.

He was quoted as saying:

"That caravan had an obscene jink value, and more importantly it was carrying twelve of my finest. If I find any wrongdoing by the tan'aari or otherwise, I will not hesitate to take matters into my own hands."

A ruffian with long red hair and a scrawny physique sat down at the fireplace across from Jach Sensbane, not too long after the notice was released

"Oi.. Jac'... I gost some very innerestin' news fer ye.."

Gluboiy, just having woke and browsing through the newpaper notices this and gives a squeal.

"With this much money i could probably get the priests to finally cast that gender change spell!" he/she exclaimed.

Without finishing his morning coffee he/she dashed out into the street trying to find out more about this missing caravan.

After the conversation with Jach Sensbane, the ruffian heaved the concious but badly burned form of the tiefling who many in the bazaar knew as Asheea, into Jach's sight. She was manacled at both the wrists as well as the ankles.

"Aye.... she be th' same as th' murdrah's stock. I'll let ye 'ave her fer anotha hunnerd grand..."

Soon thereafter, the Merkhant sent an illusory messenger to Maelfina Sixthfinger - informing her Asheea was with him.

If she wished to see Asheea ever again, she was instructed to come alone to a certain 'abandoned' home in the Buried Village 'neath the city.

The illusion dissipated after delivering the message.

((Cleaned up this thread a bit by removing unrelated OOC posts))

But Trente did not stop there... it wasn't too long before the word spread like an Arborean wildfire through first the underworld of the Cage, and then the surface.

Most were indifferent to the news, and some praised the perpetrators of the ambush. A good handful, however, were either annoyed or enraged after hearing of the news, as they held some stake in the arms shipment as well.

The undermining and character assassination had begun.

In the undersigil Village, orcs of the Iron Tusk seem to be increasing in number.

Red paint hand prints have started to become very common place as graffiti on the buildings. Njik Njik is often seen with Vorgazar, Vorgazelle, Shard and Sven all sat at his stand dining on all manner of delacacies and smoking the finest of weeds.

Vorgazar and Sven return drenched in blood and swamp water one morning both carrying a large crate each which they store away in Shard's warehouse, well guarded by Iron Tusk Nishrek orc elite warriors.

[on an OOC note i'm not looking for any sort of massive PvP war, Vorgazar and Sven were sort of 3rd party members to the goings on last night and had no motivations at all. Both sides of this conflict would do well to consider how they will play their cards before dragging the orcs back into this.]

No outside observers would have any indication that anything is amiss at the House of Six Fingers. Business proceeds as usual, with personally trained guards accompanying errand runners per usual procedure.

Sods a-grumbling about the missed shipment would have very little reliable reason to suspect the House of any involvement. Given the Mistress' well-known reputation as one of the most skilled weapon smiths in the Cage, it seems quite unlikely that she or any of her operatives would have any need to pull such a job. A building of imposing black Nishrek iron, close ties with the local orc tribe and known diplomatic contact with most of the Factols also do wonders to quell most inquiries

Meanwhile, in private...a meeting of the minds is prepared
