An impromptu auction
A coupe of days ago a gnome appeared in the market with that relative newcomer Paladin Purity Sunshine in hot pursuit. It appeared that the Gnome had stolen something from her. A short while later the gnome appeared in the Bazaar and performed and impromptu auction for what appeared to be a pair of Purity's underpants.
The pants were sold for an alleged 2000 pieces of gold to an Teifling. We are not allowed to disclose their name, but they are well known around Sigil. As the auction was concluded Purity arrived and called for the Harmonium to arrest the gnome for theft. However, upon discovering that the stolen item was a pair of underpants Purity announced that they were not hers because she does not wear underpants (which set this reporters green blood racing!).
The conclusion to this story is that a Hag came wandering by and asked Purity if she had seen her pants, at which point the auction winner turned a funny colour. Apparently Purity had been performing a ritual of cleansing with the Hag in order to convert her to Purity's religion.
A madman on the loose
Yesterday in the Bazaar appeared a scruffy madman who declared himself Emperor of Sigil. He announced that he would make the Lady of Pain his consort and made several declarations that the streets would be paved with gold and every three days people should run naked through the streets in celebration. He also declared that there would be pies with cream served for everyone. In the main the man was ignored, including by the guards, although this is believed to be a problem with the Harmonium Guard's helmets blocking out sound.
One can only suspect it will only be a matter of time before word of this event comes to the attention of the Lady or a faction and the fate of this poor cutter will be sealed.
If you see this man we recommend you do not approach him or stand anywhere in the same region as him as collateral damage may occur when he is finally dealt with.
At this time no reward has been offered for his capture.
Stranger Than Usual Or Just Another Day In Sigil?
