Dark: A Stolen Memory

After a lengthy court battle, the Mercykillers recently came into the possession of a Sensory Stone removed from one of the most exclusive Sensoriums in the Festhall. It is rumored that the Stone is made of a material so durable, that the Red Death had to formulate a lengthy, esoteric protocol in an effort to destroy it. They were still finalizing the finer points of the procedure to destroy the stone - a process that some speculate involved numerous spells, exposure to Baatorian Fire, as well as a short stay upon the plane of Positive Energy.

Why go through all the legal and financial effort to destroy a Sensory Stone? That Dark is not (yet) known to me.

What’s important to realize, Sigil, is that this Sensory Stone was locked away in what was assumed to be a secure location within the Prison, awaiting destruction. A shame, then, that vague new reports have emerged from the Red-Death brass which indicate that the stone is “missing.”

What is it that the Mercykillers didn't want anyone else to witness? And where did it go?
