Harmonium Soldiers responded to an alarm early yesterday morning from the Ace in the Hole, a casino in the Lady's Ward owned and operated by the Changeling Rith Fiddir.
Apparently several thieves attempted to break into the distillery in order to liberate large amounts of wine and beer from the facility. What they got, instead, was a nasty surprise.
The distillery was apparently trapped, spraying a thick noxious gas onto the perpetrators as they attempted to break the doors open.
After being apprehended the suspects confessed to the crimes. They also confessed to being a Were-Shark, the head of the Zhentarim, and the Lady of Pain's mother. One also admitted to a relationship with a Space Hamster.
The sedative used by Fiddir to protect his property was apparently an exceptionally powerful hallucinogen. This theory was furthered by the fact that one of the suspects was chewing on a leather boot upon his arrest, referring to it as "Good candy."
When asked to comment on this, Fiddir merely stated the following:
"Hehe...that'll show 'em."
