Cere Mirth turns up at the Foundry with her entry.

Description: It appears to be a wooden box. Inside the box is a dead octopus and a dead fish, the fish entwined in the octopuses tentacles. It gives off a rather bad smell already, and probably will get worse. ((Material cost: negligible)

"Behold!" she shouts "My pie de resistance! I call it Underwater Love!"

She then pulls a lute out and starts singing a song, apparently at the contents of the box. It appears the song is called Ode to a Dead Fish.

Elayne Darkblade makes her submission

Description: It appears to be a pair of leather underpants, with a circular hole cut in front surrounded by a metal ring. Chains and a lock are also present. ((Construction cost. Materials: Some metal chains, some leather, a lock. A few GP in total. Enchantment cost: A minor detection spells with a contingency, a fire spell, and a .. unsure, it causes damage by making a blade move. Spells should be cheap in themselves, but permanent enchantment will add to the cost. Open to suggestions on the price for this))

When asked to describe its function she responds: "It's kind of a chastity belt for men. Note the lock on it and the chains? That makes sure the male cannot remove it without they key, which hopefully the female has put somewhere secure. Then man wearing it places his member in the hole and once adorned it cannot be removed.

Magic? Some. A little mechanics as well. Note the ring, note how it is two semi circles really, and the notches in the top. As long as the ring remains its current size everything is fine. However, should the male's member become engorged, the ring will slightly come apart allowing a blade to drop. This is where the magic comes in. By itself, the blade, sharp as it is, would probably only cut a little into the male's member causing pain and irritation, but not what is desired. Instead, the magic detects the drop of the blade, and forces it down quickly and heats the blade, so that the wound is cauterized, hence the male should not die from the wound and loss of his best friend.

On the downside, the woman has lost a husband or lover, but on the upside, she has gained a Eunuch and can in future be assured he will not cheat on her. Also i hear Eunuchs can be sold for good money on some worlds, so a good investment I would say."

As she speaks she sometimes casts glances at the groin regions of any males in the area. Any males overhearing her talk may feel a little intimidated.

Reshar delivers his own little creation at the Forge:

Description:

It is a small disk made of onyx on a simple silver chain, a flaming skull carved into the gem. The design is simple yet elegant, nothing flashy but still having a certain style. A Detect Magic Spell would reveal a moderate aura of necromancy and the gem alwys feels somewhat cool and moist, like the earth of a freshly dug grave.

When he is asked what this is and what it does he smirks, then explains:

I call it the Amulet of Duty beyond Death. It is a rather simple device, animating the corpse of its wearer as a skeleton for a single day. The Skeleton will try to complete whatever task the wearer was to undertake as death found him. The amulet will be consumed in this process of course.. you see, the gem itself is nothing more than the material component required for the spell.
After twentyfour hours the skeleton will turn to dust, however as noone shall be allowed to cheat death.... and of course roaming undead are never without problems.

The Amulet will work on most weaker creatures who may not have access to resuurection or raising magic, but truly heroic beings would need a more valuable crafted to fit their needs.

(( Cost? In NWN I have no clue.
In PnP it would have a market value of about 1500-2000 gp ( single use, use activated item, 3rd lv spell, 6th caster lv, (animates a single skeleton up to 12 HD), cost for the onyx is 300gp.). One might check my math, am too lazy to get out my books so I am working of memory :-P ))

"Ho, ho ho!" - Westheimer exclaimed, looking down on his crotch - "Well, well, well...how do I take this off?! No matter, it'll do for a few days...Yep. Third place for the style!"

A few hours later...

"Heh, a pinnacle of design, this one set. A lot of work, that guy must be a perfectionist like us after all...shite, I am getting sore, I really have to find the key...That one...undead-summing thingy, is also quite...intriguing in its simplicity...and the message...Oh, yes, I toss a coin! No, wait. Competition. Yes. I'll give the amulet the second place...not eno-...WHERE THE HELL IS THAT KEY?!"

And so, the winners have been announced!

1st: The exquisite battle set.
2st: The amulet.
3st: The chastity belt for men.

Each of the winners would be invited to claim their prize as well as offered to join the Godsmen as soon as possible.

Reshar bows with a humble smile, accepting his prize.

"I am very honoured by the offer but I cannot join the Godsmen as my loyalities lie elsewhere. I cannot serve two causes and I belong to the church of the Stern Lady, Wee Jas. I find no way for me to walk both the path of a Jasidin and a Godsman."

Again he bows and then makes his way to the Bazaar where he spends the gold on healing supplies for the Infirmary and a new set of surgical knives- silver, cold forged and normal iron and even adamantine, one of each.

Elayne approaches to receive her prize but waves it away when offered.

"Oh no, i've got my reward thanks. I can't believe you were so dumb as to actually put it on. I mean, not that my opinion of your gender could have got much lower, but, thanks for opening my eyes to the incredible stupidity of the average male.

Key you say? Ha ha... i never made a key. No no, don't panic, i included a failsafe. There are always the magic keywords. When one is said it will open the lock. The other... well..." she looks at his groin area "... if that word is said, say goodbye to your best friend."

She pulls out a piece of paper and a pencil and scribbles two words down on it.

"Unfortunately, its slipped my pretty little female mind, which word does what. I guess you will have to experiment."

She laughs a wicked laugh and turns to depart.

Should Westheimer read the paper the two words written are:
Submission and Domination
