Talin, eldest son of the merchant House Maharanis, was found face down inside the privy after drowning in his own vomit. Talin (human, 23), was attending a Sensate banquet when in his usual manner he visited the privy in order to expel the contents of his stomach.
What happens when a food addict wanders their way into a Sensate banquet? Most berks would sample whatever they could before ultimately their stomach (or stomachs) are filled to burst with the innumerable platters offered within the Festhall. This never deterred Hailman Maharanis' eldest son Talin from making a quick trip to the privvy, quaffing a purging potion, and emptying his stomach before returning to the buffet. Guests that discovered his body suggest that Talin was heavily intoxicated.
While no love is lost between many berks and the deceased, the Maharanis son will be fondly remembered as a man with a love of food, the extravagant, and dying in a pool of his own making. Talin's family have yet to comment on their son's death.
