Lady's grace, berks and berkettes! The Free League is planning on sponsoring a Bet Your Life tournament in the Grand Bazaar just outside of Khazeet's bar! In just one week's time, put your life on the line for the Grand Bazaar's Grand Prize of twenty thousand jink! With no cost to enter, how can you say no?! Please leave a note of interest with Khazeet for tournament organization.

OOC Information: This event to take place at about 2:00 PM (EST / GMT -5) on Saturday 29th. Starting time may vary slightly due to high or low attendance. There are no entry fees. Rules are Random Plus Same Wall. Please follow this link for visual instructions or refreshers, or feel free to bother Altair in the Bazaar for an IC refresher course. I am more than happy to intentionally lose games to teach other people. Prizes are as follows:

1st Place: 20,000 jink in your currency of choice. (No items, only planar currency or gold.)
2nd Place: 10,000 jink in your currency of choice. (No items, only planar currency or gold.)
3rd Place: 5,000 jink in your currency of choice. (No items, only planar currency or gold.)

All participants will recieve a free "foil" promotional card, simply for participating. (PS, it's only foil IC, as there is no mechanical system in place.)

Brackets will be held in set format, with best 2 of 3 advancing. Due to the ease of forcing a draw state in Bet Your Life and in the interest of keeping the tournament moving smoothly, draws will be decided by opposing d6s: highest roll takes the single match.

As far as leaving notes of interest, please just reply to this thread if you find yourself interested. Let's make some noise!

An artist, Riel Ulbrin, who has been working with the creators of Bet Your Life card game was found flayed in his workshop today. According to neighbors he rarely left his workshop. They only discovered something was wrong when they started smelling the stench.

According to the Harmonium, who per usual only have a brief statement, they said he died a two days prior. They refused to give further details until a full investigation can be done.

According to Bet Your Life creators Riel was working on promo cards for the upcoming Bet Your Life tournament set to take place in a couple of days. It's also said that he was working on a rare Lady of Pain foil card. All the cards are missing and at this time the winners receiving cards seem to be bleak hhowever the creators of the game seem confidant that the jink reward should be more than sufficient.

This is Pepper Melage signing off. See you at the tournament.
