Some of you bashers might be wonderin' what's real point behin' th' latest big part of half-assed legistation the Guvners have composed. The law-fools are know to make laws like fools.
However, the chant regardin' th' real reason 'hind th' this new sign of addle-coves in their ranks, is actually somethin' caused by nothin' more than one of the Fated. To all those cagestruct clueless, it is th' heartless who collect th' taxes. And th' tax collection is handled by givin' the collector a hefty percentage of the collected taxes. Th' system works, as most of th' locals aren't too fond of paying anything...
And Guvners themselves aren't much of a difference to this bit. So, without further circling, this brings us to th' one Heartless tax collector who happened to find an old tax. Bein' more specific, a tax the Guvners had last paid before there were tieflings. Suffice to say the Guvners' coffers were empty before you can spot a jinkskirt in hive.
No doubt th' Guvners had their little share of Modron Headache. But in order to cover-up their lossess, it seem they've decided to take control of th' trade and focus it where they can handle it and collect th' revenues - Nothing but a rule of Sevens if you ask this cutter.
So, let's just give a kick in the rump to those unhended who wish to uphold this sorry excuse of a law.
