For the purpose of learning the abilities of creatures that spellcasters of all kinds may summon to their aid, the Harmonium asks mages and priests with these powers to enter the Summoner Contest held monthly in the Great Gymnasium!
In the contest, the pair of opposed casters shall summon creatures of roughly equal power who shall then fight to the death. The mages themselves shall remain invisible as by the spell and points awarded to whose creature wins the battle. The judging shall be performed by Factotum Korvard of the Harmonium, who also presides over all contest related matters.
Prizes are magic devices and scrolls appropriate to the theme of the contest, meaning all matter of things concerning summoning and dismissal of summons.
The contests will be held only if at least 2 spellcasters are entered to the date of the each contest. Spectators are welcome and their safety from renegade summons will be ensured.
