Hi citizen of Sigil!

I, Faer'Chik Hed'Uran and Naya'il McEwan will be your hosts in the coming evening of Illusions and Truths. We invite you to Spice Rack tavern within the Civic Festhall tomorrow evening! ((OOC time: friday 7th of January, clock 8pm, GMT +0)) During this time you will be provided different sensations through illusionary means, no participant is intended to be harmed mentally nor physically by the arcane presentation, and at any time you are welcome to decline from any kind of illusionary involvement.

Illusions will be of Phantasm type, which is a mental image produced by caster to recipients mind, the phantasms can varie greatly and we would not wish to spoil any secrets for you, but certainly new sensations will be granted.

There will be drinks and some light snacks provided for more sociable side as well, and some Hed'Uran family potions will be sold, many brews for daily, monthly or rare nuissances.

[i]A little history about Illusions and Truths is due, it is a gnomish tradition, but could be better known as "point of view" or "perception" for you all talk folk, what it means is that everyone decides their own little illusions and truths they wish to follow, how the see the multiverse shapen around them.[/i] [/li]

For ToothDecay's awesome performance tonight I would like to nominate her for an 1 million... no, wait, 1 billion, XP reward.

She (or He?) RP'd really well and even created some really great situations for players. Exactly the sort of thing we players of Sigil love.

As Drakos he pushed the illusion back on Gem (very high WILL) but it made him realize that falsehoods are not to be tolerated. He came clean with Kara about his love for her, and she rejected him, believing it was only friendship, and as i understood felt betrayed by this admission of love. In return, Drakos also felt betrayed by her for her lack of acknowledgment of his love and declared they were no longer friends and left the meeting is distress. Who know what will be the long term effect on their friendship, and on Gem, who was a part of their adventuring company? Will she blame herself for this breaking of the fellowship (sorry, couldn't resist)? Or will she just see it as something interesting to be investigated further?

Anyway, awesome stuff. Keep up the good work ToothDecay!

The evening got quite much more populated than the poor little weary gnome and possibly Naya'il McEwan as well had assumed. Lehtecca of course satisfied and keeping count on all tabs put in to tax Naya'il and Gem afterwards. Laughter, tears, cheers, discussion and shouts mixing within it, and ever growing cloud of stench spreading from, quite not so mysterious source, a single dwarf, though alone he certainly drank with vigor even a group of dwarves would be proud of! Of course not to discredit any other guests, there was much excitement to be had from break ups to simple conversations.

From room not far from the Spice Rack the small gnome gave private illusionary experience, a decision done to aid her focus on the spell alone. Perhaps a blessing to the gnome as she missed her friends getting in argument. Providing illusionary sensations of six different kinds...

Drakos: Wrath
Vinnadis: Judged by Pride and Purity
Ymerion: Despair
Kalyn: Vanity
Gluboiya: Greed

... weary at the end of day, she only hoped the people joining were satisfied.

I hope others enjoyed as well, and I apologize that it took so long. I admit I had expected a few to come, but then the entire Spice Rack was full!

Naya had managed to drum up a fair few interested people by standing in the market area promoting the Sensate Spectacle of an evening of illusions and truths, phantasms to be precise...not that she knew what they were and led the small gathering towards the Civic Festhall where upon, through the event, others filtered in and the crowd gained in size.

She later realised that it wasn't so much of a Spectacle as a personal and individual experience that the gnome Faer also know as Gem offered. One or two were disappointed, Naya apologised for the misunderstanding, not a falsehood per se but a lack of knowledge herself on what the gnome had planned.

Still, the social aspect of the evening while the gnome performed her illusory magic upon volunteers went very well. Lehtecca offered free drinks of choice to the curious, some buns, pastries and pickles were offered as snacks and the tab was, for the most part, to be picked up by the Society. The Academy of Majika owner, lady Vara Jorina offered to cover the bar bill in the event of it exceeding the agreed sum that Naya had arranged. And with one dwarf present, name of Rorin, who was less interested in the exotic, consuming more than the share of the others present of his chosen stoutish wind-inducing ale, Naya was thankful for that offer.

Naya'il tried to ask each volunteer afterwards of their experience, wondering what they had sensed and felt throughout but it was hard to fully appreciate it in the hubbub of the gathering as well as to enjoy some of the social aspects herself of meeting a few of Sigil's finest, some new and known faces, keeping the snacks circulating and ensuring those on the periphery and looking solitary were drawn back into the gathering again....not to mention trying to avoid some of the rather closer-than-desired attentions of Miss Sixthfinger at one point and also trying to soothe fractured feelings between Drakos and Kara.

Naya'il congratulated Miss Faer'Chik on her stalwart performance, requesting only that the girl show her a personal phantasm illusion or truth sometime after the event to satisfy her own curiosity.
