Unconfirmed reports from witnesses who shall remain unnamed, due to the volatile nature of the subject matter, state that one arrest led to the rise of another power.

"Supplanting leadership on such a large scale causes turbulence, but it should die down soon," said one.

It appears even underground organizations need to clean house once in a while. But . . . what might this bode for other "factions?"

"We are unsure if this is a direction we wish to go forward with," said another witness,"but . . . we don't really have a choice, do we?"

Rith ponders this a moment before heading off to concoct an evil plan.

Birthe rolls up the paper and sighs.

"Well, maybe I can actually use that to my advantage. I'll have to find the butler and hope for once, he didn't do it."

An expected shipment of goods from the Prime, hard to find and rather expensive items such as liquers, cigars and more exotic fares that are hard to find and worth their weight in taxes... items usually smuggled in quietly and without tarriff, does not show as planned.

It seems whomever smuggles these items into the city has halted the shipment.

As the identity is only known to Hildmor... it will be impossible to renegotiate the deal under current circumstances of a new Cartel leader.

Many clients in the city and undervillage will have to go without these pleasures this month. Seems the local stores will be without.
