SIGIS Reformation

Countless centuries have passed since my childhood that I can scant recall any of it, save cozy nights in the family den while father read aloud choice articles of the local newspaper. I can't tell you its name, or even where that locale was, but the idyllic polish of passing centuries have shone those evenings more brightly with each year. It's no doubt that's why I chose a life of investigative journalism and tread the same trails for truth and illumination as my treasured mentors - Sari Hounder, Paxton Sinclair, and the legendary Verona Vale. Curious that I recall their names, but not the name of the town where I listened to their articles read in father's inflections.Â
So it was my proudest moment, and my father's, when I was promoted to Editor in Chief at that same publication. For a few brief weeks I was able to oversee the journalists and editors that composed the news that I so loved, but it was not a fairy tale ending meant to be.Â
"But tomorrow's edition is already pushing deadline," was my final thought when I died upon a would-be-burglar's knife.Â
However death was not the end, and I'm pleased to say that my end will be a long time coming. Time, as I've come to learn, requires occupation, and since I had an eternity to explore, learn, and work, I decided to pursue the greatest endeavor any news person could undertake - a career within the multiversally renown SIGIS.Â
I wish that I could claim surprise at the publication's vast disarray, but it seemed appropriate that the newspaper reflected the very chaos of the planes upon which it reported. Until now the readers have enjoyed a certain spirit of freedom and enthusiasm, and a virtually guaranteed notion of publication should any malcontent individual choose to dispute one of SIGIS's articles. The stack of threats of slander and libel has toppled in upon itself.Â
Unfortunately this must be discontinued for the sake of this newspaper's survival. Effective immediately the editors responsible for publishing reader correspondences without consent have been terminated, and now all incoming communiques will be channeled directly to my desk. New and modern policies have been enacted to ensure the fullest responsibility of all SIGIS journalists, and through this effort we can witness a rebirth of the news, and reclaim so much of the dignity that SIGIS has lost during the tenure of my predecessor.Â
Please understand that SIGIS will never shut itself away from the people, and all interested parties are encouraged to continue their input. Together we can create a brighter, better SIGIS for the benefit of all, but the days of printing ranted debates and threats are done with.Â
