Beginning tomorrow the owner of the Ace in the Hole, Rith Fiddir, will be hosting a charity drive to benefit both the Homeless in the Hive as well as the Weary Spirit Infirmary.
The first 50 coins spent by each patron will be matched by Fiddir himself and donated to the Weary Spirit Infirmary to provide medical attention to the poor of the Hive who cannot afford it themselves.
When asked why Fiddir was insistent on helping the Weary Spirit, Fiddir said the following:
"Lots of people are sick, and the Hive is a dangerous place. With the lack of sanitary conditions in the hive the people are prone to infection and all kinds of nasty little surprises. The Hive needs a better staffed and better equipped infirmary to handle the influx of the sick, and having lived in the Hive myself at one point I just want to do my part."
Rith Fiddir is quickly making a name for himself around Sigil as a Philanthropist, though he was once considered a Criminal by the Harmonium for his association with the Cartel. When asked about his former connections to the Cartel and Hildmor D'Kridis Rith also stated the following:
"The past in the past. I came to Sigil with barely two copper pieces to rub together, and D'Kridis gave me a job. I didn't realize the kind of man he was until he tried to make me do things that went against my nature. But I'm not that guy anymore. Sure, I do a lot of crazy things, and I've been known to give the Harmonium the Finger every now and again...but I'm a pretty decent guy. And now that I have money I want to try and make a difference with it."
Fiddir hopes the Charity Drive will be a huge success, and invites anybody who loves games of chance to enjoy in the festivities. Wine and Beer will be free during the event to encourage new patrons, brewed by Fiddir himself.
The event begins at Midnight, and will last for 3 solid days.
