My dear friends and Brothers of Sigil,

I, Wren, son of the most honourable Ortharas, wish to announce my intention to build and open, with all possible haste, a house of shelter, learning and brotherhood within our fine city. It is my aim to provide an education and a family to as many of the children of this city who live with neither as I can - I, as a foundling child of a monastery, know just how great an effect this can have; were it not for the love of my home, I would not be the same man and, not wishing to sound arrogant, likely a much worse one.

Of course, any who seek knowledge mundane, spiritual or philosophical, shelter, brotherhood or home would find it in my arms, regardless of age or background - my house will have no door, indeed.

Know that I aim not to indoctrinate people in my views or opinions or to preach; I see diversity of views as key to understanding the multiverse, so I will but explain my own ideals, urging any students to strive to find their own. I will encourage my children and brothers to see a brighter, more open world beyond the one many of them were born into and would otherwise die in.

However, such things require resources, and so I appeal to three groups of people:

Those with land, that you may make gift of or sell to me a suitable plot for construction.
Those with money, willing to donate or invest in the cause.
Brothers of soul, willing to stand by me in my work and help operate the house as my brothers and equals.

Should you be interested by such things, I would speak to you. Look out for the untidy blonde monk in the Bazaar.

I pray for your understanding and respect, dear friends. Blessings on you all.

Wren.
