"Our time has come, get ready to fight. Sisters and brothers in metal, unite."
Nica Brianna Kelter is in some ways polarizing woman. Her demeanor and behavior demands respect, and it may not always be earned by her deeds either. In many ways this is reflected by her facial features, unusuall angular, almost elven in shape and jarred by a vertical scar over her left eye giving her a fierce expression when her blue eyes gaze upon you.

In duty relentless. In spare time... really just an extension of her duty more often than not. Unable to really turn off the pursuit of golden harmony that the Harmonium indoctrination is keen to praise. Latching on every string which furthers her training and studies to the one true way, the Harmonium way.
"This is the way, we want it to be. This is the way, of the Harmonium."
Though Nica is a warrior of a strong philosophy through and through, she isn't entirely fixated to the warriors way of life. A moderate amount of vanity finds its way even to her life, but few will ever get to learn much about it as she seems to be almost equally comfortable when life doesn't go her way.

When she is seen on duty, she is unpleasant company. Uninteractive even if a magnet to tricksters attempting to undermine her influence. They will quickly find the hard shoulder of non-reply out of Nica. And she will promptly point out that they're not there to discuss. Those that do get past the hard shell, and that is a metaphor for her personality not the armor, will still find her difficult to reach while she's performing her duty.

Off-duty she can be pleasant, but one shouldn't get comfortable to think she'd always be so.
"Stout are the Harmonium, in warfare so bold. Nothing can stop us, the future we hold."
Many will quickly learn that while Nica is slow to draw her blade, intimidation to her personal health will draw an almost immediate and lasting ire. However never will she go against the orders of her superiors or the laws, no matter how painful or loathesome it may be to her. She may grit her teeth, but laws are paramount. So while she has many faults, she at least is no golem on service even if to many she may seem so.

"We all hold the power to lead and overcome."
Several months spent in the Sigil has made Nica ever more cynical. Politics, backstabbings, assassination attempts. Sigil was no place of peace, not yet anyway. And the Faction politics were not making it easy to attempt to achieve that end either. The Hall of Speakers displayed an unresolute decision as well, a show of weakness in the Factions determination.
"Begging for a chance, and hoping for a change. Continue our fight and do the best that we can."
The Great Bazaar was no longer under the Harmoniums control, only closure decided by the Hall of Speakers was that the Harmonium could assist in a state of emergency. Only thing left to be determined was if they should. After all there were no obligations any longer, and the factions likely believed that they could get the best possible outcome without downsides. Nica believed differently, new deals should be bargained for the Harmonium separately, none of this best of both worlds nonsense.
"We are the Harmonium, we stand as a million. We're fighting for change, we're praying for peace. The holders of tide, divided unite. Together we're fine. With strength to believe."
Alternative matters around the Sigil displayed the incredible amout of distrust toward the Harmonium, even by allied factions. Inability to express topics for the meetings invited into, intimidation by accusations of treason, slips by Harmoniums internal investigation, a total of six internal investigations she had been put through over the course of her stay in the Sigil. Not even once found guilty, and not once would she be. Difficult person as she could be, Nica was confident that she obeyed each law and regulation to the letter.
"Together we'll see that this is a movement, it's where we belong. We're the voice of the strong."
She wasn't all cynical however. There was hope for the city of Sigil still. She always knew the path would be difficult and testing. Tenacity to see the truth and the laws being made worthy of respect once more, no matter the amount of hatred it'd bring with it. No matter the ache of each wound and backstab by the system would cause. No matter how isolated it would make her socially. No matter how tired she may feel. Still the Harmonium must endure, and continue, until their last breath.

Such is the burden of Harmony.
