"Door has open" The wards were active to speak when ever they did. Locking doors seemed so pointless for Clay. Unless you knew the tower you would find your death quickly if you wandered the halls. He finished the page he was reading then looked over to orb to his right a nervous hin standing in the room. Touching the orb next to it he projected his thoughts.

"You have something of interest? or wish to be part of my garden?"

"Y-y-yes I have information you wanted on were your father might be".

In an excited voice "You do? were you know how I can get there?"

Put back the change the hin stammered through what he had learned only to find a bag of gold fall in front of him along with request to continue. Greed put him at ease counting coins as he continued what he had learned, it was always profitable dealing with Clay though it seemed he did not like to bother with little things.

"So an onxy ring will get me to this Sigil? and Zelmenish fell? I did like gramps though what ever he had belongs to me not that stupid Succibi. I will take what is rightfully mine from her and make her a servant to what she toys with"

The hin interrupted while biting a coin, "The door could be one way, and possibly draing you of all your ability going there its ruled by a lady of pain who has limitless power"

Clay tapped his chin thinking then tapped a gem, creating a portal bellow the hin. A scream was heard in the room as the hin dropped uncomfortably into a glass tube.

"WHAT IS THIS....I-i-i did what you wanted"

"Yes but if you lie and I get trapped you might as well share my fate, I will free you when I return".

With that the tube filled with mist turning the scared hin into a nice statue. Betrayal is not a new term or unknown to clay. Many adventures had sought him as an easy mark only to be a statue in his garden or worse. One of his many sources of coin.

Looking to the ceiling as if it had an answer written on it he then looks down to his book. A smile appeared on his face as an idea came to mind. Preparing a stone with his memories, he then outlined what is to be done on a scroll. Nodding approvingly he then took a toe and threw it into archway that had no door.

With the arcane words done a clone of himself stood asleep in the door way, waiting for a soul to pass into it. Happy with all his preparations he wandered off to try this door to sigil to regain what is rightfully his. Though the door might be one way, death is a hard thing to escape and a clone is an easy way to avoid it or get out of such a thing.
