The Armorsmith

Hammering at an anvil in the blazing heat of forges, the oily smoke giving his sweat glistening tanned skin even deeper hue, is a dwarven smith, chanting a song of some sort in the rhythm of his hammer's swings. Oblivious to his surroundings the smith hammers away, each hit precise and flawless, perfect. Aside him rests pieces and bits of something what might be a golem if pieced together, and on the anvil in process of shaping, the final piece to the puzzle, the frontal plate armoring of the strange construct...

Contracts

Aste met a half-giant at Khazeet's, briefly commenting on the towering fellow's battered armor. A while later he and "Animal", as the half-giant introduced himself, were chugging bear, striking banter about giants in general, which however turned soon enough into smithing issues. "Animal" and Aste stroke a deal about armors and weapons, if Animal's merry band of mercenaries required any they'd find him and his brother Harand at Foundry.

Some days later the dwarven smiths had a chat with Hildmor at Khazeet's. The old man had an intriguing idea about mercantile consortium brewing, and the smiths weren't adverse to sell their artful craft, having already posted an advertisement to the main newspaper of the city. First task though would be to leave an application of sorts to a lad called Charles...
