Chloe was once the human princess of a magical world called Edralsil. She was stunningly beautiful, with a supple, fit body, well formed curves, gorgeous eyes and flowing golden hair. Unfortunately, she was spoiled rotten and evil to the core. In her youth, she was bossy, demanding, and cunningly underhanded. She would bully and trick people into getting her way, and would demand her father executed the people who did not do her bidding. Her mother and father became exasperated, and the more they punished her the worse she got. In her teen years, she seduced a serving boy, because she wanted to get rid of her virginity so her father could not marry her off.
She gave the servant the ride of his life, then, not a minute after the deed was done, she told the every person she could find. The news of the liaison spread like wildfire, and the King had no choice but to execute the boy for defiling his daughter. Chloe was locked away in the dungeon while her father decided what to do with her. The servant boy's mother, however, had a plan for Chloe as well. The woman was a powerful witch, powerful enough that she reclaimed her son's body and brought him back to life. She held no personal grievance towards the King, and went to him with her plan. She told the King she could turn the girl into a new person, through a forbidden magic of forced reincarnation. Exasperated and not knowing what else to do, the King allowed the witch to perform the act.
Chloe was drugged and taken to a secret location so the rebirth ceremony would only be known to the royal family. The witch cast her spell, and Chloe's body melted and reformed into something else... something monsterous. Her long golden hair turned into a writing mass of thin, green snakes. Her skin became covered in yellow tinted scales, and hey eyes turned to a smooth grey, the color of stone. She was a Medusa, one of the most feared creatures in all the lands.
She woke up and looked around, and saw the last few seconds of the lives of seven people as they turned to stone, the look of shock and horror carved into their faces forever. Chloe panicked. Her body and soul both felt wrong. She was hideous, but even worse has that she didn't seem to be bothered by the fact as much. She felt something inside her that she had never felt before, real power. She realized then that her life had given her only the illusion of power. She now possessed something she'd wanted for her entire life, and felt true satisfaction.
Chloe fled the kingdom in secret, telling no one of her parents and the witch. She owed them nothing, the fact that she came out on top was purely coincidence. She tired repeatedly to make a life for herself, however there were none that could withstand her gaze. She killed those who became close, and was hunted whenever she was discovered for her true nature. Knowing the world would never accept her true nature, she fled her home world to Sigil, never looking back.
