*A small dot of light appears in the city, flickering in brightness. It persists for five minutes then fades away. A couple hours later in the same area, a couple more lights appear, then more. The lights begin to combine into a large ball and then there is a loud pop and and the light disperses with an intense flash. As the blinding light dissipates, an elf is laying in the street, where the lights used to be. He lies motionless for a time until a random passerby startles him into consciousness.*
