((music)) Her mind was in turmoil, every inch throbbing for confrontation, and yet there was the calm, the calm of the eye of the storm. The thrifling matters were handled. A tribe or two, or a batallion... there was no stopping for her now, she had made her mind. All else was of no concern. There was only one goal, and not even Elminster could stop her from attaining it, she'd snuff him from existence like a flickering candle. The game was set, and she was ready to play...

-- "It's your time to run, for I am coming to get you", she chortled grinning.

Mash squinted his eyes, as he glanced over the vast expanse of the Moonsea. The slowly rippling, blue cover that blanketed the landscape as far as he could see.
They stopped on the south shore, quite far from both New Phlan and Myth Drannor. Ever since the obliteration of the monsters, they didn't meet a single soul on their
journey. Not that it bothered either of them. The other was a lot more talkative after that, and Mash learned bits and pieces of the past of both women, some he knew about, and some he didn't. For a while, during those talks, he could even forget about the collar around his neck, and even felt like being with the "real" sweetheart of his. In turn, the woman was interested in his journey through Faerun, and Mash couldn't help but wonder, how little she had known from the stories he told Mir. But to indulge her, he retold all that was interesting. Mir seemed to enjoy these, at times spicing up the tale with snarky comments about the futility of his mortal desires, but even to this, he had gotten used to. He just smirked, asking back if she would've done otherwise. And for the first time, he saw that the being sitting opposite of him was unsure.

- Don't just watch it, use it! - the yell came from behind him, and he felt a strong push, as the woman tackled him.
- Oi!
The surprise attack sent him flying into the waters of the lake, and he went under with a satisfying splash. As he surfaced, spluttering about, he saw Mir laughing on the shore. He frowned a bit, but quickly got rid of his clothes, and went for a swim. The woman soon followed suit, and both enjoyed the cool touch of the lake, letting themselves be carried by the waves.
- Quite nice, I must say. - he noted, as he floated next to her.
- If you mean the water, yes, it is - she grinned - If you mean something else, then I'm not surprised at all.
He chuckled, turning on his stomach, and swimming a bit farther away, without answering her mocking question. Not that there was any need to.

They stayed for another hour, going rounds near the shore, before they gathered themselves again, and rode along the coast, to reach their next stop, before finding a way into the heart of the desert. For most of the day, an uneasy feeling followed Mash along, and he occasionally turned in his saddle, eyes straining, watching the road behind them. He couldn't shake the feeling that they were being followed. Mir just glanced at him a few times, her eyes reflecting the question, but every time, he had to conclude it's just his imagination playing curel games with him.
- Fleas in your saddle, or what? - she asked chuckling.
- Nah, it's just my paranoid rogue intuition - he answered - I really feel eyes on me all day.
- Heh, you're not that good looking - she poked her tongue out at him, but then took on a more serious expression - But to be on the safe side, let's listen to that voice of yours.
- Aight. - he nodded, adjusting a few things in his belongings, searching in a bag - You really had to take them all?
- Yah, can't leave you with gate scrolls, not that you run away from me. But I left you the others - she smiled - And guess.. you can have these back, too.
With that, she handed him his missing Disjunction scrolls, and he put them away, just to be in reach, if needed.
- There's one thing I've been meaning to ask, though - he looked up after setting his gear.
- Which is?
- Seeing your performance.. you both forgot quite a lot of things. Yet you remembered. Does that mean she does, too? Or are you the only one holding these?
- Hmmm - she pondered for a while - Even if we walk in different guises, we are one and the same. If she really wanted, she could tap into this knowledge, too. But for now..
- You don't trust us enough, to let her in. - he nodded.
- 'xactly. Will see after this little trip is over, though.
- Ah, that's another thing... - he took a good look at her, and spoke what has been on his mind for a while - What are you looking for exactly?
- I'm surprised you haven't guessed by now. - she quirked a brow with a puzzled look.
- Hmm.. well I don't know much about the Anauroch, except for that the Illefarn and the Netheri... - he suddenly silenced, glancing at her.
- Bingo. - she smiled with a dark expression.
- The Nar... Alright then - he nodded - Will not cause any troubles for you.
- Heh.. I don't even have to try and read them, to know why you said that. Aight, so be it.

Evening found them still on the road, though the curve of the shores signaling the end of their journey along the Moonsea was already in sight. They looked for a proper place to set up camp, and decided to move further away from the road, and settle in between the trees of a forest just south of the cobbled path. He made fire again, she prepared a meal. Their provisions were running low though, so Mash suggested to gear up at the next best opportunity, before they cross into the desert. She agreed, but that really didn't keep her from conjuring up a scrumptious meal. Both were munching away the last bits of their dinner, when Mash heard the silent crack of branches not far from their position. He sent a small signal to her, and reached for his rapier. She nodded, but continued to eat, like nothing was wrong. The attack came from the left. The buzzing sound of a lightning bolt filled the air, but it didn't catch them unguarded. The two tieflings jumped in different directions, and the deadly spell only managed to incinerate their campfire. In the new found darkness, Mash settled in for his vision of the darkness around him. Between the trees, there was movement. He smirked for a bit, as he saw that the nearing group was something he had gotten used to in Sigil, but still.. what were demons doing on Faerun, this far from the Myths? A handful of Cambions and two Hezrous approached, led by a man in hoods, who himself had the blood of the lower plains cursing through his veins.
- Oh lookie.. demons. - he smirked, yelling over to the group - Hey there! A bit far from the Abyss, no?
- Hey yourself, mortal - the hodded figure answered in a low booming voice - We came to retrieve what is our lords, and you better not stand in our way, or you'll suffer a fate worse then death.
- Your lord's? - he chewed on that information for a bit, then looked to his side.
Mir was squatting behind a stone, and smirking his way.
- Oh come on... you really had to steal the body of a high ranking Baatezu's plaything?
- You know me.. I'm a perfectionist! - she burst into laughter, then directed her words to the advancing fiends - Nuh-uh.. I like it.
- Then perish, you fools! - the hooded man signaled for attack, and the task force began running towards their position.
- If I had one stinger for every time someone said that to me - Mash grinned, jumping forward to meet the enemy.

He disappeared in the sorrounding shadows just a few steps from the assaulting Hezrou, only to appear behind its back, and bathe his rapiers in the body of the monster. It roared in confusion, as it turned, but he was gone already. He vanished and re-appeared, dancing around the huge monster, each time a new wound joined the other. Mir wasn't far behind either, her deadly magic decimating the Cambions as they approached. The hooded man began casting in the background, and directed her attention towards him. Mash was left alone with the footsoldiers, as the woman engaged in a mage duel with the leader of the pack. Between two stabs and a jump, he saw the two duking it out, casting and countering each others arcane energies. After deflecting a near hit from one of the Hezrous though, he had to turn his attention to them again. First he finished off the one he already wounded, with a bravado of quick and blinding rapier strikes. He then disappeared again, and cut down two of the cambions, to arrive next to the other Hezrou. The big thing could not comprehend how the little puny tiefling could parry all his attacks, and even give payback with quick thrusts to each and every one. He chuckled, as the giant slowly succumbed to his pinpoint hits. He dared a glance to the side, to see how Mir was faring. Seems by now she had worn out the hooded man, because it turned to more direct ways of harming, assaulting the woman with a magical longsword.
The blade hissed in his hand, dark energies encircling it to the hilt, and it clashed with a shower of sparks with her rapiers. But the man was no match for her. She even seemed to enjoy this all, yelling taunts and mocking insults to the man, while
having almost no difficulty in keeping him at bay. Mash finished off the small fry, and decided to tip the scales of favor to their side for good. One last time, he enveloped himself into the shadows, only to appear directly behind the hooded figure, as it readied his next strike against Mir.
- Hey.. and good bye - He commented, plunging his blade directly between the ribs and into the assailants heart.
Mir snickered, watching him work, and glanced directly into the eyes of the dying leader.
- Well.. I guess I keep the body then. Send my regards to your boss, she's helluva cozy!
Mash kicked the body off his blade. He looked around, but the enemies already dissolved into those disgusting puddles, and were on their way back to the plane of chaos.
- Heh.. they'll be back though, and I think in greater numbers.
- That is.. if they manage to follow us.
- Hmm? You have something in mind?
- Yes, but I need to rest first. The old codger was pretty good, he drained nearly all my power.
He chuckled for a bit, walking back to their camp, sitting on a stone.
- Aight then, you sleep, and I stand guard. And then you tell me what you pondered up again, in the morning.
She nodded, with a small whisper of thanks, curling up on the ground. She was sound asleep in a matter of seconds. He watched her lying there, and for a second pondered, how easy it would be to leave her beind, and go home.
"Nah.. I need to do this for my Mir, too."

She awoke quite some time after sunrise. Mash went to see after a few things meanwhile, gathered some more wood, to rekindle
the fire that was so graciously destroyed by their nightly visitors. And he also made them both breakfast, with the small amount
of provisions they had left. She sat up from her crawled up position, and looked at him a bit drowsy. Nothing tho, what a hot coffee
could not fix up in a matter of minutes. She nodded with a smile, as she sipped the brew, and ate the food that he had prepared.
- She was here, y'know - she said abruptly.
- Hmm?
- Mir. She was here, on Faerun. I felt it.
- Oh.
- And you didn't run. - she continued.
- I promised not to cause any trouble, didn't I?
She just noddled, and continue with her breakfast. After she had eaten the last bit, and emptied her mug, she stood up, streching like a kitten, and looked around. For a while she pondered, then ordered Mash to follow her. They walked back towards the road for a bit, until she stopped at a big clearing.
- Ah, should be just perfect.
- For what, if I may ask? - Mash quirked a brow.
- You'll see in a second. - she grinned.

She stood in the center of the clearing, arms towards the skies. She started chanting, the words of Arcane flow from her lips like words in a song, and with a slow but steady rhytm, she recited all that was needed. Mash watched her in silence. When the last words were spoken, the sky right above them seemed to ripple, and in a flash, an opening formed, letting something through. The creature passed through the summonnning gate, opened its wings wide, and let out a roar. Then its head turned towards the beings that called upon it. Slowly it began to ascend. And for a minute, Mash forgot to breathe, as he stared at the huge body of the red dragon nearing them from above. The dragon landed on the clearing, leaning its head downwards, towards Mir.
- Command me - the majestic voice resounded, and the beast lowered its head for her.
Mir chuckled, and gave a light pat on the head, like it was nothing more then a little puppy.
- We're going on a little trip, you, me .. and that one back there, holding his breath.
The dragon glanced at Mash, and nodded, turning to the side, to allow them both to climb onto its massive back. And Mash dared to breath again, as he slowly neared the two.
- Now that was...
- Interesting? - she chuckled, already climbing upward - Just a handy trick, now come on lazy ass!
- Arrite, arrite - he smirked, climbing after her, settling in on the back of the creature. - But how long will it stay?
- Long enough - she shrugged, and leaned forward, talking to the dragon. - Towards the Anauroch, my friend. I'll tell you where to when we arrived.
- As you wish - the dragon roared in answer, and took flight.

The creature shot for the skies, wings spread wide open, as it gained height. As the two tiefers looked down, the world shrunk to something more akin to a childrens toy, the trees nothing more then little pins with some green parchment attached to them. They could see far away, even the Spine of the World was visible from this distance.
The dragon headed eastward, quickly leaving the Moonsea behind. Mash was astonished at the speed it moved, and couldn't help but snicker, as he watched the scenery zoom under them.
- I take it you like? - she smiled.
- Aye, quite a lot. Feels like sitting inside the Shade, with the canopy open.
- Heh, something like that, yes.

With the help of her "friend", the two crossed a huge distance on this day, and all that without leaving a trace behind. The plan was pretty nicely executed, he had to admit that. The demons would have almost no means of tracking them this way, and even then, they'd be up against two dangerous people, and a very angry red dragon. As the sun slowly sunk beneath the horizon the scenery beneath them gradually changed. The trees disappeared, and the green plains turned into patches of grass on a savannah like brown ground, then they were left behind as well. As darkness fell over them, they were soaring over endless sand dunes already. Mir closed her eyes, like she was trying to reach the depths of her mind for something long forgotten. The dragon followed her instructions and kept the heading, since she hadn't said otherwise. After a while, she opened her eyes again, whispering a new heading for the dragon. The creature nodded, and its body banked to set a new course over the sand. Another hour went by, and they were enveloped in a cold darkness. Not that it disturbed any of them, for them the sight was as clear by day. Mir suddenly stood up on the back of the dragon, looking down.
- There, it was exactly there! Bring us down!

As the creature began it's descent, Mash strained his eyes, to see what she had seen. It took him quite a while, to realize, that what she led them to was something that must have stood here quite a while ago. Now, only two or three slabs of stone told of it's location. But one look at her, and he was sure that was where she wanted to take them.

They had arrived at their destination. But for some reason, he felt that troubles were only just beginning.

- But it was right here! - she growled, walking back and forth on the sand in the cold night, like a caged animal - The fortress, it stood right here!
- And when was that? - he asked, his eyes following her trek with a worried expression - From the looks of it.. very long ago.
She suddenly stopped, glaring right at the man.
- How the hells should I know? You know very well..!
- Then calm down! - he snapped at her - Before you walk yourself into the sand neck deep.
She snarked, and turned her back on him, going around a few more times, examining the slabs that were visible over the sand, and everything else she could
find. After the third round, she stopped, her face showing utter dismay for what she had found. There was a low humming, and Mash felt that electricity filled the air, as a lightning bolt suddenly appeared above her hand, and thundered away into a nearby sand dune, exploding it into the sky. "Yep, she's pissed" he concluded
watching the woman. For a second he entertained the thought of trying to calm her, but he realized that it probably would not work. She wasn't the one that listenes to him. Another few spells followed, turning the immediate sorrounding into a place where sand rained from the sky, as Mir let out her anger. It took about a quarter hour, until she finally calmed down. She slumped down into the sand, glancing at one of the slabs in front of her. He decided that it was safe to approach.
- So, what now?
- Hmm... what I'm thinking about right now - she looked up at him, then back at the slab.
- You know...
- Yes?
- It might be still there. - he smiled - Just.. deeper.
She looked up at him, for a second glancing into his eyes, then smiled a bit, nodding. She stood up, and took his hand, yanking him along, getting quite a distance from the place.
- Aight, might as well test it, then.
She stopped at a greater distance, turning back towards the parts of the ruin she could still see. The air of arcane sorrounded her again, and Mash felt a tingling sensation, as she readied herself for what was to come. She uttered a few words, melodic and rhyming again, the hands slowly rising, her fingers pointing towards the patch of sand she brought them to. First, a slight breeze picked up, rushing through the cold desert night, centered over the place she was looking at. The breeze became gradually stronger, and starting forming a funnel over the ruins. As she continued the chanting, the wind became stronger and stronger, and not soon after, a family sized tornado was hovering over the sand in front of their eyes. She changed the pitch of her chanting, her hands slowly moving left and right, and the wind funnel followed her instructions, it lowered onto the sand, and in becoming bigger and bigger, it began to suck away the soil from beneath it. Mash watched in awe, as the mini tornado ravage the layers of sand above the place the ruins should have been. On the top of the funnel, the excavated soil flew in a big arch into the distance.
- Now that's one way to do it - he mumbled, watching the wind do its work mesmerized.
She nodded with a smirk, then turned back her attention to the tornado, directing it to work itself deeper and deeper, slowly but steadily removing layer after layer of sand. After half an hour, something showed up beneath all the golden soil. Slowly, but steadily the forms of an ancient building appeared, blackened and withered by it's time beneath the desert. Two massive demons stood on both sides, their
eyes fixated towards the central point. Between them, a large door, with jet black and closed hinges. Around the entrance, derelict and destroyed pieces of walls came to light, depicting how the above ground levels of this once massive fortress must have fared. She let the funnel do its work, until all of it was cleaned of sand. She then snapped, and the pehonmenon evaporated into the air, until nothing but a slight breeze remained. She smiled, looking at him victoriously, then wavered. Mash hurried to her, catching her body before she fell.
- Now.. sleep. - she muttered, and pretty much fell asleep in his arms.

The rays of the sun woke her from her slumber. She looked around disoriented for a bit, not really knowing where she is. There was a distinct feeling of warmth around her. As she looked about, she found himself in the embrace of the male, cozily put onto the ground. She frowned a bit at first, but then the happenings of last night came back to her, and the expression changed to that of a grateful smile. Yet, she freed herself from the embrace, waking him in the process.
- Oi.. sun's up, sleepyhead - she chuckled, as she stood and looked down at him.
- And a good morning to you, too. - he grinned, standing as well.
- Yeah, yeah.. - she turned, pointing at the giant door - Well, guess that's the only place we can check after so much time. The rest - she glanced about - Is pretty much gone.
- Hm.. looks massive. But I'm sure you can handle it. - he winked.
She just grinned, walking up to the door. In the crossfire of the two guardians' sight, she stood there, examining the jet black door for quite a while. She then sighed, mumbling something about "too persistent wards". She stepped further
away again, and with a grin, formed a ball of energy in her hands. It was see through, and rippled, humming in a low voice.
- Let me just shreek it open - she snickered, letting the ball of sound fly towards the door. As it impacted, a deafening thunder roared aloud, ripping the heavy door into little shrapnels.
She seemed happy with her work, and after they both were able to hear things, she slowly made her way toward the entrance. From beyond, a dank and musky smell emanated, and she frowned.
- Been quite a while, it seems. But that also means that things might be intact.
- What things?
- You'll see.
She didn't say more, just walked forward, into the darkness. The door hid a flight of stairs, heading deeper into the heart of the earth. For a moment, an uneasy feeling came over Mash, as he glanced at the walls around them. It looked like walking into the maw of a beast. But there was no turning back. Whatever it was she was looking for, was down there. And he gave his word.

Truth/Revelation

The stairs seemed to go on forever, and the deeper they descended, the warmer the air became around them. For a place sealed away for who knows how long
the air was suprisingly fresh. Mash took it slowly, skipping in front of her after a few steps, scanning the walls around and the steps beneath them, not
wanting to walk into some hidden trap the benevolent builders of this place might have left behind. The woman walked behind him, not raising her voice once
at his behavior. Even she knew this was the reason he was brought along, and it was better to let him do his job in peace. The descent took them an hour this way,
and his cautious behavior did pay off. They found a few mechanical, and some magical traps. Former were quickly dispatched by Mash, latter were rendered unusable by her. He noticed, that with every meter they got below ground, his companion got more and more excited. He really couldn't guess what she was looking for. If it was revenge only, then they may be a few hundred, or even thousand years too late, he could not phatom any demonbinder surviving for so long in this tomb. But for now, he kept quiet, in a way being just as curious as she was excited. Finally, the stairs ended, opening up into an antechamber. Through their vision, the walls seemed to glimmer, as during the years this place was buried, various luminescent mushrooms and moss took claim of them. On the floor he could discern a mural, quite in tact, depicting a robed man fighting a demon. He could also see the disctinct collar the man was holding. Oh yes, he saw a lot of these "traps" not long ago. For a second he shuddered, knowing they have come to the right place. The chamber ha three doorways, leading to every direction, and the flight of stairs they just came down on. Mir smiled, stepping forward, into the center of the room.
- Mhm, just as I remember it. Though, it had more light last time.
- Okay, so where to from here? - he asked her, taking a glance at each doorway.
- Well, the one to the left leads to the kitchen, which I'm not very interested in. Unless we want to fight a sentient thousand year old pie, or something - she snickered.
- Not really, no - he answered with a grin.
- The one to the right - she pondered - that one would be the way to the storage rooms. So forward it is.
He nodded, and followed her as she walked through the doorway. The antechamber opened into a bigger room. The room was square shaped, with huge pillars made of marble, holding the ceiling up. There were signs of decay, the marble had blackened over the years, but the statues, that were carved from the pillars still retained their forms. Demons of all kinds glanced back at them, most in various subjugated positions. One even depicted a succubus, with a Nar crushing her wings with his boots. Mash frowned slightly, as he saw these.
- Taste, they didn't have, that's for sure.
- Myeah.. though these are pictures from life, if you know what I mean. - she sighed.
- Ugh.. let's move on, shall we?
Mir walked in front, unerring leading them deeper into the complex. She walked around knowing exactly where she wanted to end up. Through turns, corridors and chambers she led them, never stopping even for a moment to think where to turn next. During their journey, Mash heard low noises from afar, like something scratching against the stone walls, muffled voices that sounded like growls and Abyssal, and at times even felt the watchful eyes of something on them. But every time he turned to check, there was nothing there. Yet, he felt that something
was amiss. Even the shadows seemed to be afraid of something, that was down here with them. A look on his companion was enough that she was also well aware, that they might not be alone down here, but yet, she went on. She led them through a couple of living quarters, and past a few doors, when she stopped. She glanced to the left, into a dark corridor, with a shudder.
- The prisons are that way.
- Prisons?
- Yeah, for the ones they collected, awaiting their.. subjugation.
He nodded, pointing to the other doorway.
- And that?
- That is the main summoning chamber. And their library. Our destination.
She walked on, passing through the last door. As Mash followed, he couldn't help but gasp. This last room was enormous. Even after all the time that had passed, torches enchanted with eternal light illuminated it. The whole chamber was circle shaped, running for a good while, farther then his darkvision could last. He estimated the diameter to be of more then 200 meters. On each wall shelves up shelves, containing countless tomes, ingredients, flasks. This was a laboratory, and a library. The center of the room had a huge summoning circle, even after this time, the magical symbols painted on the ground did not fade away, and the candles around the circle were still intact. Around the circle, a number of stone pedestals, for the mages to gather on. He remembered the tomes he found when they searched for them. They used their numbers to bind powerful creatures. But he thought there was a number of mages they could use. But here.. the pedestals counted a lot more then six. he glanced upward, noticing that the walls above the shelves were covered to the ceiling with warding runes of all kinds, securing this place, should one of their subjects try to make a run for it.

Mir stood there, for a while just glancing around, appraising the place. She let out a deep sigh, as she slowly walked forward, disregarding the tomes and shelves, heading for the circle itself.
- It was this place, this very place - she stopped, looking down on the circle, and kicking one of the candles far away - Where they first captured me.
- What? - he glanced at her, catching up.
- Yes Mash, it was during the time of those Empires, that I first came to your dirtball of a planet. The Nar caught me, bound me.. and used me.
She walked around the circle, touching each pedestal as she came up on them, caressing their surface, drawing with her nails into the collected dust.
- They all stood here, twenty of them - she smirked - that's how many they needed to tie me down. Was more of an accident, I think.. or strange fate.
- What do you mean?
She stopped, turning to face him, leaning against one of the pedestals, her eyes shining in the darkness.
- I'm not like you, Mash. I'm not what you.. and what Mir thinks she is. I.. we.. are not mixed blood fiends.
- I don't think I'm following.
- I'm not that surprised - she chuckled - wasn't easy for me either, when the pieces finally clicked, and I remembered quite a lot. See, you both know I'm not from Faerun, but just assumed from some other plane. But truth is, I'm a primer. It's just that my Prime is very.. very far away. Well beyond your Crystal Spheres.
He blinked, leaning on a pedestal himself, nodding, and letting her continue.
- I ended up here by chance, or blind fate. I left my home long ago, and my vessel drifted awry, arriving in Realmspace. It floated over Faerun, and frankly, I was curious about the beings that lived in those big cities I saw over what is now the Anauroch. So I commanded it to descend. But as luck would have it, these stupid bastards sensed my magic, and thought me to be a fiend, so they captured my ship, and bound me, right HERE! - she growled, punching the stone slab that was the side of the pedestal, making it crackle. - They condemned me to this neverending journey on the face of your world, Mash! I was given from one mage to the other, like some cheap toy! Only giving me enough space to know I existed, but could only do what they told me!
- But.. you escaped..
- Oh, I escaped countless times over the centuries. Either because the one that summoned me thought with his whatnot instead of a brain, or because they felt pity for me. I was free for years.. decades at most, then someone found the scriptures the Nar left behind, and called onto me again. Over and over again...
- But not anymore - he smiled - it won't happen again.
- No, not anymore - she grinned - Mir is free now. I myself don't know how that happened, or where she was, I have no recollection of that time. But she found her way to Sigil, and she found her freedom. And even though you are a pathetic mortal, you do see to it that she remains free.
- Yes, as long as I live - he nodded.
- Mhm.. there's that, but now that we are here, if I find what I want, we can see to it that "as long as you live" gets to be.. indefinite - she chuckled.
- Your ship is here? - he asked, after pondering for a while what she had said - That's why we came here, right?
- Aye, you are a bright one - she nodded, pointing behind them, beyond the summonning chamber - They hid it there, I can feel its presence. And it is still operational.
He nodded, again lost in thoughts for a while. He then looked up, glancing straight into her eyes:
- So.. what are you then?
She slowly walked to the center of the circle, her hands reaching up, casting a cantrip. A ball of light ascended towards the ceiling of the room, illuminating the whole chamber in a bluish light. She opened her wings wide, smiling at him
with her yellow, feline eyes glimmering.
- I am Sava'ii, a child of the skies and stars. And after millenia, I'm finally going home!

She sat down, chuckling quietly.

-- “Pleasure demon? You wish.”

She glanced to Mash in the now utter darkness, her breath gradually steadying after the exercise. It had indeed been a good choice to bring him with her. She didn't say it out loud, maybe due pride, maybe to not bolster the ego of the male too much, but if he hadn't been along, she would've been in truly dire straits.

His head was still buzzing from the assault on all of his senses by the outburst of energy she produced, he slowly kneeled up, looking around. There was nothing left, not even the shelves and the pedestals could withstand her rage. The summonning circle was wiped from existence. They were in the middle of an empty room, all matter except for them consumed by the flames of arcane she had unleashed. He sat, and started to laugh.
- Well.. guess we can say.. you cleaned house!

She glances around smirking, then with a sigh, “Too bad for the tomes though. But they weren't why we're here anyway.” She collected herself and stood up stretching, offering then her hand to Mash to help him up.

Smiled, taking the offered hand as he stood up. For a second, the urge overcame him to do what he usually did after such encounters, but could stop his body in time. - At least the contents is still inside - he smirked, streching for a moment, glancing behind her - Oh..
The contents of the room wasn't the only thing that fell pray to her spell. The wall she noted to hide her prize from them was more like a great slice of cheese now, and through the holes, a refreshing scent of a forest started to fill the stale air of the fortress. He grinned, and holding her by her shoulders, he turned her around to face that wall.

-- “Huh?”, she asked from across her shoulder while being turned around.

The scent of the forest then invaded her senses too, making her smile and then laugh. She took a step, and then another, each quicker than the earlier, practically pulling Mash along her toward the opening.

Beyond the opening was neither dark or light but a gentle late-evening twilight, and there wasn't forest either but a corridor which walls were covered with reddish dark velvet, the floor a hint darker and of different composition, rougher and of which boots got an unnaturally firm hold, but which was easy to walk on after a moment.

Mir strode the cavernous structure without hesitation, not giving a glance at a number of doors the duo passed by, not until they came to a double-door which opened with a barely audible hiss as she approached it. Beyond the doors... a room with three luxurious couches, a pair of massive bookshelves, a hearth, and in front of the to half-circle aligned couches, a tall, angular wall darker than the blackest black.

Mir uttered a few words in a rapid yet softly flowing language, glancing around. For a while nothing seemed to happen, but then there was something akin to a slow yawn and a genderless baritone replying to her in the language she used...
